Stopped here for lunch while driving down the Columbia River Valley. Enjoyed the flight of beers where you can pick your own samples. Food was ok but wish there were more selections.

The food was so good we came back the next day. We had the rockfish twice and the Grinder sandwich once. Fries were good. The beer was great. We will be back next time we are in town or driving through.

Ya know, as in, their beer is the bomb. Really, pFriem brews awesome beer. Tried a variety (hazy IPA, Jammy Ale, Golden IPA) and enjoyed them all. The place was packed on Labor Day in the early afternoon--and the wait time was something absurd like...almost two hours, so we just ordered to go--but I imagine on non-holidays, it'd be a chill place to enjoy some beer and tasty food.More

We stopped by for lunch and really enjoyed the veggie burger. The menu says it is made with a housemade lentil, mushroom, and veggie patty, plus grilled leek aioli, Hermiston sweet onion, herbed fromage blanc, and baby arugula. It was delicious. The fries that came...with it were also very good - fresh and hot. It isn't always easy to find a good veggie burger, and we would definitely order this again.More

I am a Hood River local and have enjoyed many delicious beers and memorable meals at pFriem Family Brewers, but I absolutely had to submit a review after my most recent visit. I am not a beer connoisseur, but Beer Connoisseur magazine is and when...they named pFriem Family Brewing Best Brewery of 2019, they went a step farther. “Our review is blind and greatly controlled in order to eliminate all bias. In our 10 years of publishing, there has not been another brewery that consistently receives as many World Class and Exceptional ratings from our panel as pFriem. In fact, no other brewery even comes close. pFriem is unequivocally The Beer Connoisseur’s best brewery of all time. This is not our editorial opinion. This is a fact as demonstrated by the reviews. Congratulations to pFriem on earning my personal designation as The Beer Connoisseur’s best brewery of all time!” Wow, I can not compete with this Beer Connoisseur magazine review, but I can share an amazing evening I had with my husband at pFriem. This evening my husband ordered a long-time favorite of ours, the Northwest Mussel Bowl: PNW mussels, winter-spiced coconut milk and Pilsner broth, hand-cut fries, Grand Central baguette, house aioli, fresh herbs. I ordered the Beer-Blanc Roasted Scallops: Oven-roasted scallops, crispy golden potatoes, fresh chard with lemon, cauliflower puree, lambic-butter sauce. Both dinners were amazing! And of course our beer selections were delicious. The staff was super professional, accommodating and attentive, as always. Visit pFriem Family Brewers at the beautiful Hood River waterfront park and experience the best of the best.More

Very popular so a bit of a wait. Good food (OP charcuterie for me, pork sandwich for hubby & burger for our friend) and good service - not a beer drinker but hubby said his draft was excellent (PFriem IPA). My wine was good and...reasonably priced. It’s also a great location, right on the river so you can stroll around while waiting for your text saying your table is ready. Will definitely returnMore

Family oriented and decent food close to the Columbia River are good combinations, add to that the extensive beer list and that is a winning formula for the many visitors to this area. I had the bratwurst meal with warm German potato salad, my wife...the daily soup, and the rest of the party had the daily special. All was very good. Service was great so all in all it was a great place for a family to go.More

Fun, happening brew pub and restaurant. Stopped here for beers and appetizers. We were excited to get seated right away at the bar without having to wait in line. The beer here is great with a large selection of aged barrel options. I enjoyed the...Scotch Barrel Aged Imperial Brown; would definitely order again ABV: 10.5 IBU: 45. We were disappointed that the hummus was not suggested as salty. Tried the garbanzo beans but also over salted for us. The local cheese selection was a Brie - Briar Rose soft cheese which we enjoyed. However, it would be good to see a three cheese plate option. Please be aware that this is a popular place and you may have to wait for a table.More

Small seating area indoor and outdoor to taste test the local beer and enjoy favorite German food. Had warm garbanzo beans, a bit dry, to start followed by excellent grilled bratwurst and potato salad and a good pork sandwich. Best part was the ability to...sample as many of the dozen-plus beers on tap for $2 for each 4 oz taste. Fun place to return, particularly when the rain stops in this area.More

We were here on a very busy Saturday night and fortunately discovered that this establishment had an app you could use for putting your name on the wait list. We were 18th on the list, wandered around town for 1/2 an hour, and drove to...this destination with plenty of time to spare. The space of this brew pub is trendy and noisy so keep that in mind if you're trying to have a conversation with others. Tables are both family style and private so you could end up sharing a long table with others. Service was quite slow on the night we visited. Our server disappeared for long periods of time, particularly when we were ready for another drink. We didn't get our appetizer until right before dinner, but our server caught the delay and subtracted the cost from our bill. My dinner partner ordered the bratwurst and it was quite delicious. I ordered the Skunka Salmon meal which was a bit lackluster. It was pretty much an all white dish, with the salmon, a ton of rice, and cauliflower. It really could have used more flavor and definitely some color to break up the all white presentation. The beer was quite good and we'd return just for that. In general, we liked the location of this brew pub, being right on the new waterfront park - a real bonus.More

We recall seeing dogs on the patio. And maybe even water dishes. The town seemed to be very dog friendly.
