We create locally sourced delicious food, handmade daily by our passionately skilled bakers and cooks. Pine Street Bakery is owned and operated by Megan Davis, from a family of experienced and successful northwest bakers. We offer a variety of bread and pastry, savory and sweet, and a small selection of breakfast and brunch/lunch offerings. A majority of our ingredients are locally sourced goodness; eggs, flour, vegetables, fruits, meats, dairy products, herbs, juices.Our splendid coffee is sourced from a Brazilian coffee family, roasted locally in Portland, OR--Nossa Familia.

Stopped in the Pine Street Bakery for lunch - difficult to choose as all looked so good, had a delicious ham and cranberry chutney sandwich on freshly baked bread and a German chocolate cupcake for dessert. Nice space and many choices

Heard about Pine Steet from friends who walked by but couldn't stop to check out. Pleasant, helpful staff. Good choices of breads , cookies and sandwiches. Baguettes and Cibatta Breads are awesome. The Sammie at the counter showcase was much better than expected... lite and tasty. Other sandwiches on the menu looked quite good. Cookies are tasty but just a little dry... maybe because gluten-free? A very good place for a quick bite in The Heights.

This is a VERY popular local hangout where you can bring your pooch and sit outside. Unfortunately, the times I have been there have left me dismayed as I didn't have 30/40 minutes to wait for a sandwich at the lunch hour.

We've stopped by twice for a cinnamon roll and a peanut butter cookie. The cinnamon rolls are somehow rolled in a very fine sugar which gives them a slight crunch. The peanut butter cookie has lots of peanut flavor, is delightfully dry along the edges, and could only be better if one end was dipped in chocolate.

Hungry after having visited Vista House, Multnomah Falls and Bonneville Dam we arrived in Hood River and looked for a place to have lunch. We found this very cosy pleasant shop / bakery and had
‘Tuna Salad Sandwich with freshly made bread’ and ‘Spring Chicken Sandwich’. Nice service, plenty of space to sit and very tasty food. Happy to have found this bakery.

Pine Street Bakery is the saving grace for my family; including my 4 year old daughter, husband, myself, and our small dog. This is where you're going to find a lot of the locals from Hood River enjoying their morning coffee and pastry; or perhaps a great place to find a nook and get some work done; OR (new addition!) a great place to grab a pizza and hangout with the family on one of those nights you just don't want to make dinner. They recently expanded into another space; the additional space makes it easy to find a place to sit.
The weekend Pink Trolley has a route that goes right by Pine Street Bakery - my daughter and I have made a practice of ordering the Lemon Poppy Seed muffin and sharing it as we wait for the trolley to come. :)
Thanks so much, Pine Street - keep doing what you do!

We stopped here on our way to Mt. Hood for a lunch break. Such a lovely bakery. The sandwiches we had were absolutely delicious. Crusty homemade rolls like we used to have when visiting Germany. Freshly brewed coffee (Nossa Familia brand), lots of seating. A perfect place to stop and have a grilled cheese sandwich.
