Tasty food and larger portions. Everything we have tried there has been very good. The strawberry shortcake is exceptional. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Smiles all around.

But...if you like HEAPS of food - this is the place to go. Eggs, potatoes, pancakes. Yep. Cooked well. I recommend you go in with 3 people, order one dish and share it.

Old fashion breakfast, the kind that sticks to your ribs. I love the omelettes, and hash browns with salsa and sour cream.

Really good breakfast at McCrae's. I have not eaten lunch there, but I'm sure I will at some point. Everyone tells me it's great.

Haven't been here in years but wanted to take my hubbie to a new place. Breakfast was just as delicious as I remember. They were uber busy but their staff is on it and we were seated within moments of arriving. Yummy yummy in my tummy!

"The home of the one pound burger" and "a twelve egg omelet"; have you ever seen this? Just had to see this for myself. The omelet is humongous. One can choose a half, which would be plenty for two people, or a whole, for a couple of dollars more, plus fixings of your choice, cheese, peppers, sausage, onions, etc, as... More

A must. You must go here. Large portion of food. Unbeatable biscuit and gravy. Friendly and wonderful staff, home style feel. We felt like we were treated with respect, served amazing and delicious food, chicken fried steak is great, and had a great breakfast.

Bacon was somehow not very bacon-y, pancakes were chewy - either from a mix or overcooked or so one forgot the leavening. The eggs were cooked correctly and tender. Their portions are crazy but that's their gimmick. No one needs 12 eggs for breakfast, feeling full isn't the same as being satisfied or satiated. Tired decor, and sticky tables. As... More

Friends that live in the area brought us here for breakfast one day while we were visiting, and I'm glad they did! Portions were huge, and the food was delicious (I've never had hash-browns that tasted so fresh)! A big step up from the IHOP and Bob Evans that we have to choose from back home! We were able to... It's a good thing I don't live close to McCrae's because I would visit way too frequently and undoubtedly carve off a decade or two from my life expectancy. The chicken fried steak is world class and huge. The servers are friendly and attentive. I've had better service during slower times than when they are packed on weekend mornings. If... More
