Came for lunch on a Saturday. Our waitress was great. Very fast and friendly. My son raved about the meatloaf. It was a little pricy but not terrible.

Good food and service, nice for a decent meal. Not outstanding but good. Standard for this franchise. Will stop in again when we pass through town.

This is a decent chain to keep an eye out for when we travel through Oregon and northern CA. They even have an app! The food is not as good as it was 10 years ago, but it's good when you just a want a simple meal in a clean place to eat with nice service, and keep rolling. Be... More

My friend had never dined at a Black bear Diner before, so went there on a road trip. The food was exrtraordinary once again and very well prepared. Our waiter was top notch and we rewarded him for that. But the greeter at the door was very complacent even when spoken directly to...which Ken tried to do. Just a young... More

My family and I have eaten at Black Bear Diner a few tiimes in Grants Pass. They are always busy, which is not so bad, because their food is very good. The service leaves a lot to be desired. When you are seated you are forgotten. The staff may come by and ask for your drink and food order, but... More

My grandson and I stopped in early for breakfast and were seated in a mostly-empty dining room, in the corner by the restrooms. Once we had our meals, we became invisible. The coffee was terrible. My eggs over-easy were done well, but the home-made sausage was too salty even for me and the "biscuit" was a huge mound of delicious-looking... More

We love our Black Bear Diners and eat at them whenever we can. There is always plenty of food and you can get breakfast all day. This location did not disappoint and it is convenient to hotels and the freeway.

Good food and large portions. Large variety of food to choose from. Great pies too. Service was quick and nice. We called ahead for pick up and everything in order was correct.

The food is not very good quality (most of it is microwaved). The staff is friendly but the service is slow (every time I have been in there). I would not recommend eating here.
