My family goes to the Powderhorn almost every Sunday. We love the food and the staff. If you need gluten free bread, just ask! My kids love the chicken fried steak and lemon meringue pie.

This downtown café was recommended by the owner of the Buona Sera Motel. They serve breakfast all day and sandwiches and burgers as well. My French Dip was wonderful. The bun was fresh and soft an they included a lot of roast beef. The fries were seasoned and fabulous drowned in malt vinegar (my choice, they have ketchup too.) I... More

Located on the main North/South street, it is centrally located if you are shopping downtown. Food was excellent and copious. Wait staff very outgoing and proficient. The breakfast menu is quite extensive and watching plates heading for other diners, it all looked terrific. Pricing was very good. Highly recommend for that small-town atmosphere coupled with really good food!! While there,... More

My wife and I went to Powderhorn Cafe in Grants Pass for an excellent breakfast during late May 2016. We were tourists in Grants Pass but we noticed a lot of locals there. This place is obviously well-liked. We found service to be very good. Portion size was excellent. The waitress made sure we had all we needed and brought... More

Went for breakfast one morning. Had a veggie omelet. Decided to skip the hash browns , potatoes and bread. Had the most delicious lemon pie instead. Mouth watering! Recommend this downtown restaurant highly.

Spent the night on the river in Grants Pass and needed a hearty breakfast to start the day. A little bit of research and talking to some of the locals brought the Powderhorn Cafe to our attention. Easy to find and plenty of street parking and upon entry, we immediately felt the hometown vibe. Obviously had been around for some... More
