Excellent food, service and quaint atmosphere. Second year in row and we will b back! The food was hearty, delicious with large proportions. The house made Bloody Mary is highly recommended! The garnish was yummy as well as cute!

Cute cafe, very good food. Unfortunately their water pipe broke due to the freezing temperature. Therefore no espresso machine, briefly had hot cocoa but ran out of that while we were there mid-day, no hot water for tea. They did have ice water....

The good: tasty sandwiches, good variety, arcade. The bad: Slow, impersonal service. Loud clanking drink refrigerator that drove us nuts.

I stopped for a quick breakfast bite and a toilet pit stop. They said to go to the bar downstairs which wasn't open. The museum was the next option which opened a few hours later. Not good Tourist places without necessary services just don't cut it

Don't pass this one by simply because of it's looks - you will wait in line because this is where the locals eat - very good food at a very good price.

Excellent latte. The Alpenglow sandwich was delicious and huge, as was my husband's Avalanche. Even their basic grilled cheese plus with roast beef (because the teenager doesn't like veggies on his sandwich) was excellent. Fresh ingredients, helpful staff, very casual cafe with limited seating inside. Also had exceedingly patient staff who were gracious and kind to the rather demanding jerk... More

Great tasting, great ingredients, and friendly service. By far the best nearby breakfast to fuel up for a long hike. Tip: Try the Acai parfait.

This place is a little treat on the way to hike Mt Hood. Delicious, fresh ingredients, coffee and treats. Had outback omelet and biscuit and gravy. Hearty portions. Check it out for some pre or post hiking fuel.

Had a great mile high Avalanche sandwich at this cute sandwich shop. We sat outside on a narrow little balcony patio on a sunny day and drank an organic lemonade. The sandwich was great, the staff very accommodating.
