Brought a business team here. We sat outside as it was very warm inside. Had to order Togo for service outdoors. The did accomodate our requests. Food wa as good not fancy. Mac and cheese is very good so are the pizzas. Good variety of...beer and drinks.More
Stopped in for dinner with 2 friends. Our waiter was not interested in our hospitality. He served us appetizers with no set up. We had to ask...He served us warm draft beet and when we politely informed him, his response was I didn't pour them!...We then sent over the bartender who was extremely gracious and apologetic. He then replaced our beers with no charge. Our burgers were just ok, kinda sloppy. Had to ask this " i dont care" waiter for condiments. Always felt like i was bothering him. Then when we got our check . Our waiter became super nice! Well we had some kind of culinary 3% charge on the bill. The waiter once again didn't know what this was...so he sent out someone from the kitchen who was not a happy camper to explain that this was an included tip for the kitchen! Now im not the happy camper! So i go online and open the website and send an email of my concerns asking that my email get forwarded to a manager or owner. After over 1 week no response.. Well I won't be back here soon and I will stop recommending this place to all that ask.More
We ate lunch here and had no complaints. They have inside seating plus the bar but we sat outside on the large, sunny patio. Typical menu of pub items like burgers, pizza and sandwiches. Everyone liked their food and the pizzas were really good with...tasty, crispy crust made with spent brewing grain. The beers were brewed in house and all nicely done. Average prices for the touristy area. Very friendly service. Good choice for lunch or dinner.More
My brother went with 3 people and said the food was very good but service was slow. I went 5 days later and had the same experience. It seemed like my party of 8 arrived between surges and things were not too busy. Still, it...took a long time to get servers and then for the food to come out. They were out of some of their main dishes like fish and chips, sadly. They were also out of some of their beer even though they make their own, I believe. Still, my burger was good. My fries were crispy and addictive. The Smores dessert was extra tasty.More
The food and beer maybe awesome but we don’t know. We waited for 10 minutes, the 3 servers were slammed and though it said to wait to be seated no one acknowledged us and we saw multiple tables with only water on them. We were...afraid to wait longer and then even longer for food so we left.More
Government Camp looks and feels like a winter ski town. It seemed like a ghost town when we visited on a Wednesday in October. The brewing company was not busy.
It's a quick walk from the Best Western to the Mt Hood Brewing Co. The service was okay when we arrived, but really slowed down to a crawl as time went on. The drinks were great, my daughter had a MHBC Mountain Farmhouse Saison beer,...and I had a fabulous marionberry mule. The Smoked Steelhead Caesar salad I ordered was odd. First time I've ordered a salad where they literally laid the romaine hearts across my plate in a row, poured dressing on top with about a quarter cup of steel head on top. The fish seemed more like a garnish then something that is in the mainline of the description of the dish. My daughter enjoyed her margarita pizza though.More
My friend and I visited the brewery on Sun April 18th. The staff was Outstanding!! Teddy, Ryan and Chris were absolutely Great!! Attentive, personable, hospitable and friendly!! Thanks Guys!! Amy and Douglas
Service was horrible and food was... worse than bad for the price you pay, only thing acceptable was the dessert. I will not be back
I was here a few years ago, only I forgot it was here. Had I known before booking the table and it being so late I would have left. Just as bad as last time. Food, not good; beer; just buy it in a can...it’s the same thing. What a waste of money.More
We tried three restaurants in Government Camp during our stay and this was the worst. Very average food. Nothing special. Definitely overpriced for the quality of food. However, our service and server was great!
Very good food and Beer. I had the Ice Axe beer, which was fantastic, and the fish and chips to eat- very good. Wife had the pastrami sandwich, which she really liked as well. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back if in the area again.
We came here on our Oregon road trip and we were so disappointed in this brewery. The service we had was just awful and I really hope that it's improved since then. The beers ranged from average to just awful and we sadly felt that...the best thing about the brewery was the logo (which is pretty great). Oregon breweries are some of the best in the country and this is definitely one to skip.More
Beer and food are ok. Nothing to write home about, but consistently ok. Its the only brew pub on the mountain so I guess they can stay just that way until they get some competition. Location right off Hwy 26 makes it good for a...quick stop off to and from Bend. $3.50 pints at happy hour.More
