This is a local favorite that opens early, 7 am, with many regulars showing up throughout the day. The breakfast and lunch fare are standard, yet, each entree shows extra care in the preparation and presentation. This cafe's main attraction are the various fruit and cream pies they make. They're delicious and very large. Parking is a bit tight, however,... More

Restaurant is in a small house off the highway. Breakfast and lunch served, but primarily breakfast. Food is not special. They bake bread, but just use a homemaker bread oven.

Ate breakfast at this small, homey place. Parking lot was full, so that was good news. Got a table pretty quickly and ordered. Then we waited. After half and hour we waited some more. We were visited family in the area and had to go back and check out of our hotel. After another half an hour we came back... More

Huge omelets, too huge. Love the homemade bread, though. Atmosphere is funky. Service is friendly and casual. Nothing really special, and nothing really bad. Good breakfast/brunch place. Pies look really good.

Very nice staff, clean, great bacon, tomato & cheese sandwich. Berry pie was very good. Very helpful to assist with a business meeting. They let me hang out until they closed at 3:00 prior to my meeting.

We stopped in for lunch. Neither of enjoyed our food and left more than we ate. Were hoping for a mom & pop experience from the 50's and were very disappointed.

I'm sorry. I usually try to find something good about a place I have visited. Yes, the portions were large, I'm sure the owners of the restaurant are probably very nice, and they might make great pies (I didn’t try any) as other reviewers have said. But the breakfast service was extraordinarily slow, wait staff obviously didn’t care about whether... More

My friend and I stopped here for breakfast last year while on a road trip from Canada to San Diego. We both had the stuffed hash browns and I can honestly say it was the best breakfast I have ever had. Besides the food, the place way very homey and welcoming. This was over a year and a half ago... Dieters need not stop here. Tasty and rich breakfast items in generous portions. Homemade bread. This place is a favorite of locals who enjoy a hearty breakfast. Very quaint converted house has a distinctive rural atmosphere. Convenient stop on Highway 101 toward the North end of town. Very friendly and attentive service
