All reviews risotto tiramisu soups bread masala filet prawns italian food always great food anniversary dinner oregon coast wine list wonderful meal love this place reservation desert specials
Very expensive for what you get. We arrived without a reservation, that seemed to be a problem but they "managed to squeeze you in", in addition we were dressed in blue jeans, that seemed to be a problem too.

We spent 3 months in Florence for our 50th anniversary. After going to several restaurants recommended to us, all of which were good, we came to La Pomodori. This is the best Italian restaurant we have ever enjoyed and we went way overboard on it....We ate there 12 times, choosing a different menu item each time (16 in all, plus some specials). We also tried 5 of the appetizers and all the desserts. Every dish was outstanding, especially the Filet Florentine, the Cacciatore, the Parmigiano, the Prawn Pomodori, the Marsala. The brushetta, risotto and tiramisu were the best we have ever had.More
Went to dinner last week and it was wonderful. So glad they are open again. Atmosphere is very welcoming and the service was great but the best thing is the food. Excellent chef and presentations. The brie appetizer was one of the best I have...ever had, and I have had quite a few. My scallop dish was great also with the scallops very flavorful. My husband had the halibut and the minestrone soup and thoroughly enjoyed them both. We opted out of dessert this trip but they did have a nice selection of desserts, We visited once before the pandemic and I had the filet which was very good also. Only problem here is trying to figure out what to order as everything sounds good and what we have gotten to try so far has been excellent. Can not wait to go backMore
We went here on one of the first weekends in which Florence has allowed resteraunts to open for in dining service. The place was immaculate, only about 5 tables available due to excellent spacing, the owner/server wore a mask the entire time, she made sure...we didn't touch the wine list, which wasn't yet laminated, gave us the doggie box to box our own leftovers, and in general showed remarkable concern for following new protocols. As always, the menu was extensive, and everything was delicious. i highly recommend!More
We recently had our anniversary dinner here, and it was our first visit. The location and atmosphere was fine, and the menu selection was quite adequate. My wife's stuffed pork chop was very good as was my linguine with clam sauce. The Chianti was drinkable,...but not outstanding. The Tiramisu was excellent. I would suggest they improve on three aspects: 1) service was spotty, and 2) the bread was not terribly fresh, or flavorful. How about Focaccia with olive oil dip? 3) Both soups were not sipworthy. Neither had much flavor. Sundried tomato sounds great, but was not flavorful, nor was the carrot. Both could have been improved with the addition of cream.More
My wife and I just got back from New York, went down to have a awesome dinner, I always get the same thing, Prawn Pomodori, which is so tasty. I told the owner, about are trip, and told her, she had the best Cheesecake ever,...even after trying it in New York, did not even come close to what she makes, a La Pomodori. Lived in Florence for two years, good eats are few here, but this Restaurant is a must. Call for reservations, that is for sure.More
This would be an excellent date night. The food is wonderful as is the service. It's not in the main restaurant row, so parking is easy and it's much more quiet. Probably a lot of locals go here rather than tourists. We had four in...our group and all of our meals were delicious. Especially recommend the scallops if you like them.More
