Once you realize you don't have to eat fish for every meal this place was a nice escape from the touristy first impression of Florence.

The food was really good and the service was excellent! We chose the high tea and had the pear, walnut, and blue cheese and the cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches. They were both really good. Cute place to try for a light lunch!

Lovejoy's is primarily a tea room, but they have added a number of salads, sandwiches, and seafood. Many kinds of tea, many of them rather exotic, are available. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Located a few blocks off the main street of Old Town Florence, as you step into the restaurant / tearoom, you're swept into a different era of civility, serenity and beauty. Serving high teas with finger sandwiches, small delicious quiches and soft biscuits, everything slows down to a gentle pace. The restaurant / tearoom sponsors many special events: book signings,... Quaint restaurant tucked away around the corner from the main Bay Street action. Feels like walking into a tea house in England - with real clotted cream. Have several choices for High Tea. Have daily specials. Bake their own scones. Lovely chicken curry salad sandwich. Open for breakfast. On weekends suggest a reservation.

From the time you enter, you feel the friendliness and warmth of the people at Lovejoy Tearoom! The authentic-looking decor is charming. Their menu is quite varied. It is difficult to know what to try first! They are known for their Salmon Bisque and Clam Chowder, but we tried the Monestary Medley of savory vegetables. It was outstanding! I would... More

Lovejoy's Tea Room is a comfortable, authentic British style tea room. While offering familiar lunches, their tea service is outstanding. So nice to see a good selection of black teas from which to choose. Whether selecting a cream tea or a royal tea, there are several choices of savories and sweets, always delicious and traditional. The atmosphere is casual and... More

This was my 3rd trip. I took my best friend for her first visit and she loved it! It's like walking into Grandmas house, the cups don't match, flower table cloths, wing back chairs. We ordered the I believe was the Winsor, includes soup, salad, sandwich, scones, petite fours and tea. It is a little high on the price scale... More
