My partner and I had a wonderful impromptu dinner at King Estate Winery. The fillet was impeccably cooked, large in portion, and appropriately priced as such. They are known for their Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir wines, and both are impeccable. The service was relaxed, but very professional and the staff was knowledgable - everything I look for in an... We had lunch around 1pm on a Tuesday and the place was nearly empty. One would have to go to Portland to find more pricey food, but Portland doesn't have this atmosphere. The quality of the food is worthy of the price. We ate off the appetizer menu (fantastic Washington oysters, cheese plate, and great crab cakes) and split the... More

Had a great dinner. We did the tasting menu and was well timed and wines were great. We could take our time and enjoy each course with it's wine. The menu was creative and presentation was very good. Portions were perfect so you don't leave hungry or stuffed. The weather was cool so we sat inside. Would love to visit... More

You can spot the winery buildings from afar since it sits majestically atop a large hill. We were more impressed with the building than the wines but it is worth a visit and possible dinner just for the atmosphere and mystique.

ALWAYS on my birthday list-has been for as long as I have lived in Lane County. We used to ride motorcycles there but now that I'm older and more cautious-drive by automobile. It's a lovely view, beautiful sort and fabulous meals and wine

Our main reason for stopping in the area (as part of our north/west coastal 'road trip') was to visit King Estates winery, since we 'discovered' their Pinot Gris a couple of years ago. We had planned to go for dinner ( as well as wine tasting) but changed our reservation to lunch due to bad weather (storm). Even though it... More

The views from this winery are spectacular. We enjoyed the wine tasting. There is a restaurant on the grounds, but we did not eat there. We did look at the menu and it was rather pricey. All personnel were helpful and pleasant.

So many issues with this place and our meal. 2nd time here, the first was much better. Our server was very attentive and the wine was good. Cheese plate appetizer was tasty, off to a good start. I ordered the filet. It was small, way over cooked and extremely salty. Yuck. Ordered medium rare and got near well-medium-well done. Very... More

The deck offers very pleasant views of the surrounding countryside from high up in summertime....indoors is a cozy fireplace room you should request for winter. Either way the food is top notch - you will get what you pay for!

My mom and I wanted to try this vineyard for its reputable wines and based on the reviews of its awesome café. We were impressed by the quality of the wine, the service, and the delicious food. The wine tasting was the most informative we received by King Estate’s ‘wine educators’ during our jaunt through wine country and they seemed... More
