This was a great restaurant. It's been closed for over a year and re-opened as Akira. Taro is still running it though Patrick stayed at the old site and works the Haybaby burger stand which now occupies this location. Address: 359 Mill St, Eugene, OR...More

Fantastic experience, really special food. Even the tea was special. The creativity of the chef is exceptional! Can't wait to go back - make reservations though! Small spot so plan ahead!

We went as a group of six and luckily had reservations (a must). The place is small, funky, but it's all about the sushi! Super friendly service, and absolutely fresh fish. Would not hesitate to go back!

Small, quirky place, but full of character and most importantly, first rate sushi (in terms of quality of food, passion and creativity). One of my favorite things about Eugene.

There is no better sushi restaurant in Eugene. Don't even bother with the menu. Just tell them you want the chef's choice, order a cocktail, and Taro will serve you up some out of this world deliciousness.

I am a customer of Mame. There is no dress code, come casual. You normally need to make a reservation a couple days in advance. The place is tiny so it books fast.
