Went there during the Olympic track trials and found this place to be a great place to meet friends for dinner. The sommelier was friendly and knowledgable even though we brought our own wine. The server was also very competent and made several relevant suggestions that worked out well. I had to Halibut that was cooked perfect (it's easy to... More

Located in the heart of Eugene, Marche is a popular gathering place. Pizza, salad bar, sandwiches, local Oregon wines. Self-service ordering. Oysters in season are excellent. Their store sells upscale items for home, partying, cold cuts, meats, fish, cheeses, desserts.

We had a good dinner at Marche during our visit to Eugene, most food was very good, a couple misses, and we were confused about bbq pork fitting in with a French menu, but glad we went.

Enjoyed a wonderful breakfast here seated outside. The bread was fresh and my omlette perfectly cooked and exactly as I ordered.

While attending a conference I needed a break from rubber chicken and was lucky enough to be within walking distance of Marche. Oh what a treat. While I seldom eat a "slab o' meat" this was amazing. Highly recommend this place. Oh and an inventive cocktail menu too! To those other reviewers that found this place to expensive, my response... More

Sometimes you get very lucky! While strolling around the city I came upon Marche and the attached Le Bar. It looked very inviting so I made reservations for that evening. THE BEST MEAL WE HAD DURING OUR TWO WEEK TRIP! First of all the wine by the glass wine list is delightful. So hard to choose from so many interesting... More

My daughter and I just returned from a quick trip to Oregon where we had breakfast at Marche. My daughter enjoyed the Croque Madame and thought it was very good. I really enjoy espresso when I'm traveling and the one I received was very rich and delicious. All in all, a good place for breakfast but we were a bit... More

Marche, located in Eugene, Oregon, opened in August 1998. The restaurant, which seats 80 guests, has an exhibition kitchen featuring a beautiful wood-fired oven. There is also a stylish bar and a large outdoor dining area, covered with awnings and umbrellas and surrounded by a garden of herbs and edible flowers. Marche takes its name from the French word for market – a word that describes our location in the bustling 5th street Market and more importantly, our philosophy of cooking. The menu is based on the foods one would find at a farmer’s market: fresh, seasonal, and regional. Marche is committed to using only those ingredients that are at their best, so our menu evolves as we move through the seasons of the year. Marche also believes in using the highest quality and most healthful ingredients available and to that end use organic, free range, and chemical free products. The culinary technique is French-based: intensely flavored and simply but beautifully presented.
