Went to Chapalas for Mexican food and a Marguerita. Sat in the small bar. Warm chips and spicy salsa was brought to my table quickly and the large Marg appeared shortly therafter. Good atmosphere, good food.

If your looking for a exceptional Mexican food in a family owned setting this is the place for you. Best salsa in town and its free with all purchases . Menu is full of good dishes and the chicken enchiladas around. The owner, Hector is always working hard and delight to get to know

When we're in the South part of Eugene this is one of our favorite restaurants. Access is very easy with the wheelchair and there's plenty of parking. The drinks are generous and the food is very good. The servers and host are friendly and are very accommodating. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable and there are choices of seating. We... More

Average mexican resturant. The menu is extensive. The staff was pleasant and efficient. The salsa was ok, but a little thin. The main courses were filling and certainly better than fast food mexican. The prices were reasonable for this resturant. If you just have a graving for Mexican, Chapala's will probably fill the bill. Exceptional Mexican sit down pleasant atmosphere... More

We eat here several times a year and count on their tasty, ample platters, cheerful servers, good bar drinks and selection of beers. Prices are low, quality high. Can be a wit weekend evenings, slow at noon.

After a long days drive from Southern California to Eugene, our son wanted us to take him to his favorite Mexican restaurant in Eugene. The table we sat at, had rips in the cushy bench taped up. The margaritas are very good, as well as their chips and salsa. The service was much appreciated by us, especially since our son... More

The salsa is fresh, and it keeps coming with warm tortilla chips. The poquito y mas combination provides some variety for a very reasonable price, while the fajitas arrive sizzling with loads of ingredients to make them your own.

Seafood dishes are fresh and large. Enchiladas, tacos, all your favorites here are well prepared. Not great ambiance, pretty traditional like you'd see 30 years ago, though.

This is my family's go to place for Mexican food in Eugene. They have another location at the Oakway Mall, and everything I say here could be said about that place - but this is our favorite location. The people here are so friendly, we feel like we're a part of the family. They have good specials. I don't know... More
