Great Food, Great Selection of Drinks, and most importantly Great Service. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The menu selections are perfect for the area. Pricing was reasonable.

We’ve been going to the Hult Theater for a few years and had never tried the 6th Street Restaurant & Sports Bar, well that was a mistake!!!! We went over on the first of December thinking we could get in and have dinner – NOT!!!...This place was packed and looking at the various dishes folks were having, you could see why – presentation alone looked yummy. Well bad news, they were booked, but the staff couldn’t have been nicer and Israel was most attentive while really busy. The wait was simply too long for us to be able to make the opening of our show – so the four of us decided we’d come back after the show. Once the show was over, we walked across the street and found it would be closing within thirty minutes – NOT to worry, Israel said I’ll keep the kitchen open for you. He’d remembered us from earlier and was most accommodating as was our server. Each of the items the four of us had was very good and we all said, coming here again….BUT MAKING RESERVATIONS!!!!! I had the “6th Street Burger” and my wife had the “Beer Battered Fish & Chips” asking for the fries to be extra crispy. Both of these items came to our table as ordered and were so, so, good!!!! We would recommend this establishment in a heartbeat!!! Thanks to Israel, the cooks, and wait staff, our evening was capped with a great meal and the most friendly service! THANKSMore
After attending a performance at the Hult Center we walked across the street and went into the 6th St. Restaurant & Sports Bar. It was 8:30 pm and they had a posted closing time on 9 pm on this Sunday evening. We asked Israel, the...manager?. If we were too late to be able to order food. He said they would gladly serve us. They brought menus and we ordered by 8:45. Got the food a little after 9 and by the time we finished it was 9:30. The food (burgers and fish and chips) was very good. The server was friendly even though I’m sure we kept her a little later than usual. We will certainly go back. We did hear from others that at their busy times a reservation is needed.More
Dear Dtraveler9544, Thank you so much for letting us take care of you and so glad you enjoyed the service and food. Hope to see you again soon. Kind Regards, Linda
Renewed in it's approach, 6th Avenue offers superior service and great food. They offer specials midweek: burger and brew on Tuesdays, wings (meaty and delicious) on Wednesdays; and Thursday is Taco day. Great place for business meetings and lunches as they will dedicate the main...dining room for a group. I think it's the best place in Eugene.More
Hadn’t been in far a long time, nice surprise and arrived Saturday to find a Bloody Mary Buffet! Met the new manager who was super friendly and an
Thank you so much for coming back in and checking out our remodel and new staff! We are super excited with the changes we've made and look forward to having you back in again soon. Hope you have a great week!
We were staying at the Home2Suites overnight on a road trip to see friends. This fine, friendly place was highly recommended by the man on duty at the check in... We walked over, and when we entered the 6th Street location we were greeted by...the manager/owner... He was outgoing, friendly and we felt like we fit in from the first hello. He told us the Tuesday night special is a burger, fries and beer of choice for $10.00! We were seated in the bar area, server, Cora, came over and explained the menu. The vibe was great, a baseball game was on three TVs, and we were set! The food was excellent, probably the best burger we have ever had in a restaurant! Tasty fries, and the beer on tap selection was perfect. We each had something different, I loved my choice of the Mack and Jacks African Amber, my husband enjoyed the Ninkasi Prismatic Ale. Both interesting and deliciously delightful! Great choices for us. Now we have to see if we can find it in a bottle... Overall a great experience at a very reasonable price...If we pass this way again, we know where to eat...More
Dear Morcella, Thank you so much for taking the time to tell us about your experience with us. I believe it was Israel and Cora who took care of you. It's always been our philosophy to make sure that each guest feels just like that...More
The food is pretty good, but the last couple of times I had the Burger special and asked for it well-done it was very pink in the middle. Sent it back and it came back still pink. I ate fries and left. Would never send...a burger back twice.More
We ate breakfast here ,food was great ,then we went back later for drinks, the people that ran the place and the staff were super friendly. That alone would make me stop here again ! It was a short walk from the hotel we stayed in but...prices were good and like I said before the whole Staff was great !More
We had reservations for 5:00 PM. We arrived at 4:50 PM. There were a few people in the bar but no one in the restaurant. The Host told us we had to wait until they were ready to get seated. We went into the bar...and had to wait another 15 minutes until they finally said the dining room was open and seated us. I just thought this was weird. Coming from many years in the restaurant industry, I would have offered to seat the customers at the table and let them know the dining room isn't officially open for another 10 minutes but they are welcome to sit at their table. Besides that, the food was good and the service (after we got seated) was great.More
Dear traveling thank you so much for the feedback! We'll be sure to start implementing that!
I stopped by for lunch today around 1:45. The only seating available was in the bar, which was totally fine. I ordered a burger and fries. Unfortunately the fries were way too salty and the burger wasn't really that great. The burger was pretty greasy...and really didn't have much flavor. Overall I was disappointed and don't see myself going back. It's kind of left me feeling gross all afternoon.More
