Pilled high corned beef with the bosses secret sauce makes the Ruben Sandwich the best you'll ever have. Across our great nation alot of restaurants claim the best Ruben but they all have thousand island as their sauce. Steve Lear has a perfected sauce that makes this sandwich beyond compare. Worth the visit.
It's true, I've traveled 46 states in the last 7 months and Lear's has the best Reuben Sandwich of the USA. Everyone claims that they have the best you'll ever have but each time it's disappointment time. So the next time you your in the vicinity of Lears come in and ask for the Best Reuben in the USA, plus... More
Stopped in twice for the German Omelet,I doubt you could find a better one in Germany.I recommend this cafe to everyone.
Nine of us arrived at our reservation time of 7:50PM and waited until 9:15PM before any entrees started to arrive. But that wasn't the worse part. You know, when I'm visiting northeastern Oregon, part of what I enjoy so much is the quality of life. Relax. If you're visiting, the most pressing part of your day is probably when you're going to schedule your nap. When I go to Lear's I know what to expect: good food that will take a little longer than it takes... More

Of note, the server did greet people at the door and explain that it was very busy and the wait for food would be long and politely gave them their choice to wait or not. This was a big weekend Sunday. The food was... More
I come through Enterprise on my way back to Portland after visiting family north of Enterprise. It's become my habit to stop in at Lear's usually for breakfast. I have found the town folk who eat here just as wonderfully personable as the owners. The food is delicious and meets my budgetary limitations. It's one of those places that helps... More
This is more of a family-run bar than a "pub". I sat down at the bar with some locals to watch a U.S. Women's World Cup soccer match. When I asked about dinner the owner pointed me to the writing on a blackboard behind. I chose the enchiladas from 5 or 6 offerings. Everything was fresh, from the cheese to... More
Good food, good friends, great place to eat and share an experience with family and friends, home town feeling with great service. Enterprise, Oregon is a great place to visit nestled between the Wallow Mountains and the Cascade range not too far. The weather is a little unpredictable but overall Enterprise has many activities for both Summer and Winter, and... More
