Can't say enough about this restaurant. If it constantly being busy doesn't say something I don't know what does. The chowder is awesome and the fish and chips are amazing. Not one bad meal here ever and have been many times

It's ok...standard fare for coast visit...prefer the one in Newport over this one...better than Mom's and close to the fun shops

I've been here twice now. Coconut shrimp was good. So were clam strips. But all friend food tends to taste similar. That's why I selected the coco shrimp this time.

Went for lunch after whale watching. The service was friendly and fast. My son had the seafood pasta and raved about it. I had a chowder bowl which was ok. Not my favorite chowder ever.

Chowder Bowl came highly recommended by a friend so I felt slightly let down when it didn't quite rise to meet my expectations. I'm a Pacific Northwest gal so I grew up on seafood and I know a fabulous bowl of chowder when I meet one...Chowder bowl left something to be desired, rather "blah" overall. I paired mine with a... This little unassuming eatery is tucked into the main drag of Depoe Bay, with a sign that looks much like West Coast Choppers in front (only it says West Coast Chowders). I was hungry for a cup of clam chowder..... thick, New England style chowder. I was not disappointed. It was hot, rich, chock full of clams, delish. We looked... More

Every year we order a big bowl of clam chowder here. We have searched for the best chowder up and down the coast and have stopped searching! Lots of clams and soooo creamy. Absolutely best chowder on the coast. Super secret family recipe. Keep in mind that this Chowder Bowl restaurant is independent from any others (i.e Newport). Love this... More

It's not my favorite restaurant at the coast, they don't have the best chowder. After a day at Nye beach, it is a good place to get a bowl of chowder. They have a patio, closed off from the wind. Lots of families here. A good place to take kids.

Stopped for a quick lunch. Service was good, very friendly staff. Good chowder & salad perfect for a light lunch. French dip got 2 thumbs up & kids menu was terrific. We'll go again!
