Good chowder, nothing special.

Pretty standard chowder; good but nothing special. My husband and I both got the bread bowl with chowder, very filling. We also shared a bowl of steamer clams, which were tasty. Wasn't aware that this place was a chain prior to going.

I took my wife and mother here for lunch on 2/7/16. The food was decent. After checking my bank statement, I see that they added $5 to the total. I had already left a $5 cash tip on the table. Very unethical. We will never return!!!

The Chowder Bowl in Depot Bay is a great discovery for anyone that enjoys a great cup or bowl of chowder as well as offering a great overall menu. I would eat seafood for most meals if it was available fresh to me. The Depot Bay area offers just that availability. However, I currently live in the California low desert.... More

We had a quick cup of clam chowder before our whale watching trip last week. It was very flavorful and good. If we had more time we would have ordered more but we didn't want to miss the boat! If you are looking for a great cup of clam chowder in Depoe Bay, don't miss this place. :)

I really wanted some chili and garlic bread, I ended up getting chicken strips because for a little bit more I got those 2 items plus chicken and fries. Unfortunately I wasnt really impressed with any of it. The chili wasnt impressive, the bread didnt really taste like garlic at all. The fries and chicken were ok but the more... More

I'm not sure what I like best --the chowder or the fish and chips. Their fish is lightly breaded so it isn't heavy. For a light meal, they have a yummy fish and salad plate.

Stopped in for a warm bowl of New England clamp chowder in a bread bowl. Warm and good. I would recommend that you try it for lunch.

iT was a chilly day and we had chowder, which was delicious. Place looked newly remodeled. nIce and clean. Waitress was not overly friendly. Seems with all the tourists in DePoe Bay, that this would b very important.

The clan chowder was okay but nothing special as was the shrimp platter. However the young lady who waited on us was friendly and had several suggestions of places to see.
