The food is nothing fancy, but basic good eats for a casual lunch or dinner. There is a fireplace in the back (which is nice on cold, rainy days) and evening entertainment on occasion. Nice selection of beers.

Both of us had the grilled (really pan-fried) oysters and they were nicely breaded and delicious. The restaurant is cozy with lots of individual booths and at the end of the evening when we were there, it was quiet with prompt service. I can't judge the other items on the menu, but the offerings are numerous and widely varied.

My waitress was just plain rude. She didn't know the menu to answer simple questions (how many shrimp are in the shrimp and chips). When she served my food she literally threw it at me and said "there". She never checked back to see how my food was. My water glass remained empty although she walked by my table with... More

We went in for lunch at 11:15 and were seated and told that we couldn't order lunch until 11:30. We thought that was kind of strange, people were eating breakfast but, 15 minutes is going to make a difference? We sat there and watched the table next to us order lunch ant 11:30 and were served their chowder and still... More

My wife and I disagreed about this place. I had a serviceable breakfast and genuinely enjoyed the marionberries, which were new to me. She couldn't get past the name, thinking only of the disgraced mayor of Washington DC.

We almost didn't come because of a previous bad review. But the diverse menu convinced us to give it a try. I had the halibut and salmon braid, which is probably the best entree I've ever had in my life. The clam chowder was completely full of clams. The service was efficient and friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I'm hoping that we chose Gracie's Sea Hag for lunch on one of their worse days of the year - because it turned out to be one of a handful of the worst experiences we've had in a restaurant in a couple of years. Our clam chowder was a thin gruel with no one piece of clam. The rest of... More

Food was average but the prices seemed a little steep for a dated restaurant. It appeared to be a locals restaurant and the clam chowder was okay, nothing spectacular. The service was good though.

We stopped by Gracie's Sea Hag while on a family vacation to the Coast. What a great choice! The menu offers enough choices to satisfy just about anyone. All of the fish entrees are truly fresh off the boat. The clam chowder was rich and flavorful with plenty of clams. My crab cakes had only enough filler just to hold... More
