We ordered fish and chip baskets with a side salad. Lemonade and pie. The Marion berry Pie was homemade and served with copious amounts of vanilla ice-cream - yum! Too bad they close so early, they were actually turning away customers?

We always plan our travel up 97 to include a meal at melitas. The so oregon burrito is great. Eggs, ham, sausage, bacon, onions peppers, hash browns, cheese covered in cheese and smothered in country gravy. One person can't eat the whole thing.

What a great place this is. It's on Highway 97 between Klamath Falls, Or. and Bend, Or. We were traveling the other day and passed by and stopped. Brave we thought as not one car in the parking lot but a gentleman was walking over from their Motel. Walked in and it's a Clean, well lighted small Cafe in the... More

Melita's Cafe is nearly the only place, too, but that takes nothing away from the good service and tasty food that we enjoyed today. The cafe's decor is not high class (but neither are we), and the ambience (whatever that is) could probably be called generic "Americana diner". Whatever, it felt really comfortable to us. The point is, we stopped... More

Great food, reasonable prices, and friendly staff. Went with some family members, and everyone (young kids through grandparents) was happy with the food and service. Highly recommend it :)

We needed to find a spot for breakfast after leaving the Crater Lake area. Melita's was recommended and turned out to be very good. The service was a little slow but the food was good and there was a lot of it. The sourdough bread was very good as were the omelets.

Great place to stop, about 25 miles north of Klamath Falls. There is also a motel there, very quaint. The cafe has a great breakfast. We travel that way quite a bit and we have rated this one before.. Just there this September and it hasn't changed.. Good food at a good price.

The pie slices are huge and delicious with lots of rich ice cream. The service wasn't that great but nice reasonable menu choices.

I don't know why other visitors thought less of this place. It's nothing fancy, but the single server on duty was extremely polite, apologized for the delay - which was negligible - and the food came fast and was delicious. I had grilled chicken on salad and the meat was very flavorful. Generous portion along with a lot of cheese.... More

This is one sad greasy spoon. The only way it stays alive is the lack of other restaurants for 25 miles on either side, north or south. They seem to not care at all because being a highway restaurant, they don't rely on repeat customers
