The very gregarious and friendly owner and chef walked across the street to ask us very politely to move our rigs and talk bikes. He told us that he has the best clam chowder and that he’s not just bragging! We believed him so we...went in I clam chowder and seafood mac & cheese both were to die for! The place is incredibly clean the staff is friendly the back patio is relaxing it was definitely a spontaneous highlight to our day! We will come back.Get there quick he’s trying to sell and retire!More

Ordered our food and it took over an hour to get it I wouldn't have minded it they were busy. Kept apologizing over and over. The clam chowder was very good, so was the jambalaya. The frys were greasy and not that good. Probably wouldn't...go back unless it was only place around.More

Excellent in both the food and the area as it's nice to view out over the bay. Service has always been great which is added to the great food that is available.

My friend and I had lunch here on a winter afternoon. Our food was good. However, one of the reasons I like to lunch at this restaurant is that it has a nice water view. Because we were there in the winter, the outdoor patio...was closed. Still, they have a few tables by the window. However, all the window tables were occupied, so we sat in the middle of the room. The thing is one of those window tables was occupied by either the manager or owner, who was doing paperwork! Surely he could have done tgat elsewhere and left the window table for paying customers?More

We were staying in Charleston for a birthday get-a-way, and ate here for my birthday dinner. A very charming restaurant sort of tucked away on the bay. The menu was full of local & fresh seafood choices, plus many specials that made it difficult to...choose! I ended up choosing the bay scallops and I was not disappointed. My friend had the oysters, everything was SO incredible! Absolutely delicious!! They also have a full bar, my martini was also very good! Would definitely recommend this family owned restaurant, can’t wait to come back!More

From the outside you might be sceptical but as soon as you walk through the door you will find a welcoming, casual, friendly venue that has good food. They have award winning clam chowder and a rock fireplace that is very cozy in cold or...rainy weather. They also have a full bar and the night we were there, a musician playing guitar. Check it out.More

Nothing memorable. Inside smelled so bad that we sat outside. This place was a recommended so I was hoping for delicious. The chowder was good but not the best we have had. My husbands seafood pasta was mushy. I got chicken tenders as I thought...that was a safe choice. Bad idea... they tasted like all the seafood they put in the fryer. Overall would not recommended.More

the clam chowder had lots of clams and was not thick and pasty like we had other places--the fish and chips(deep fried, but u can get it prepared other ways) was flaky and delicious, the fries looked like they were cut there. The tarter sauce...was home made. Waitress (Becky S.)was knowledgable, efficient and friendly. Also served were breakfast items, Hamburg's, and more. Outdoor and indoor seating; bathrooms very clean.Strongly recommend. Bowl of soup, fish and chips, and 2 sodas came to $30--good price for quality priceMore

Had good fish and chips, scallop and shrimp combo, both really good. Their clam chowder is one of the best we have ever had. Craft beers and outdoor area a plus. Clean place, and a pleasant server. We will return.
