We had a large group of multiple families all with children staying at the RV marina. The Portside is just across the street. My husband decided rather late for he and I to take all the kids to "a menu". Our party was three adults and 8 children arriving at 9 at night on a Tuesday. A host greeted us... More

The Portside has been a Charleston staple for many years. Nice atmosphere day or night. Big windows, marble table tops, great view. Today for lunch I ordered fish & chips which included a cup of chowder and coleslaw. My husband the creamed cod served on a bed of pasta. Delicious! Panko coating on my fish, which was crispy and light.... More

Server was nice but food not worth it. Had something in my meal (fish or scallop) that tasted funny and I ended up sick before I even left the restaurant to avoid the bout food poisoning I could feel coming on. Super expensive and not ever going back.

This was a first time visit to Portside & we were very impressed with the food & service. If you're looking for a full meal for family or special occasions, I definitely recommend giving this restaurant a try. We ordered the prawns & Coquille scallops entrees, both were delicious. Our waitress was having a Monday but super sweet & attentive... More

On our tour of the Oregon Coast, we ended up staying near Face Rock for the night so we decided to give Portside a try. The service was great, food was a little pricey, but not bad. The location is great, if we didn't get there after dark it would have been an amazing view of the ocean. I had... More

we enjoyed a great evening for our 55th anniversary at this fine restaurant. The service was more than great, the Stuffed Shrimp was very tastey. Hubby had the Salmon and I thought he was going to melt right in front of my eyes.. We look forward to enjoying this delightful restaurant.

The second time web had lunch here, after three years, was just a little less satisfying than the first time. But it is still a nice place serving fresh fish at reasonable prices.

8 of us had dinner and all were pleased with their entree. Service was wonderful although on the slow side. I had razor clams that were prepared perfectly. Most restaurants tend to overcook them. I did remove some of the breading, but that's just me. My husband had fish and chips and chowder which he said "were good". Those who... More

We didn't have high expectations going in being a small town, but soon our opinion changed. The restaurant had great seating along picture windows showing off the marina and dockside as well as inside tables and booths. The menu had many choices and the server was knowledgeable with my husband's questions regarding gluten free options. We both had the sauteed... More
