We stopped for a quick dinner Friday night - delicious burger - best I've had in ages. Really yummy home made soup - DH had the clam and salmon chowder and I had a vegan bean soup. Live music and a fun atmosphere and extremely...reasonable prices!More

Love this place. Food is always great, service is prompt and friendly, and entertainment is fun/lively.

This is true gem! The small restaurant is delicious and unique...... mismatched chairs and fun artwork. The food was good...... we had jambalaya and a turkey Reuben. The jambalaya was spicy and chock full of protein. The Reuben was delicious and came with a side...of corn chips. Our server was friendly and helpful with our selections. We would return as the food was fresh and made to order.More

The food was very good but the server was slow and weird. The dining room was very small. There were four tables crammed into a small dining room. I might be back when I can sit outside; it's just too small to have a private...conversation at your table.More

The Thursday evening special - full meal with wine - share for 2 is such a great deal and plenty of food

First time we've eaten at Sweet Basil's before, and we WILL be back. My wife and I shared the Chicken Lazone Pasta and the Chicken Pot Pie. They were both delicious. The pasta dish was very flavorful; the chicken breast was spiced perfectly and was...tender and juicy. The cream sauce was full of flavor. This was a rich dish, but our other choice balance it out well. The Chicken Pot Pie was filled with fresh ingredients and had good flavor. Most Chicken Pot pies are overly salty, but this wasn't at all. The waitress, who was the only wait staff on duty, was very pleasant and helpful. This was a great choice for our Cannon Beach dinner.More

Amazing dinner - again! Mac & cheese special is the best I have ever eaten!! Really enjoyed sitting near the kitchen and watching the magic happen. The chef/owner and full crew are amazing! Oh and desserts are ridiculously satisfying without being too sweet- great way...to finish an incredible meal! Thank you for the delicious evening!More

We had to wait outside for a table on a cool, autumn night. The server was super friendly. The musicians were excellent. However, the food was a mixed bag, with the eggplant lasagna not very good, with slices of eggplant that were way too thick,...but the chicken pot pie was the best my wife ever had! So I will come back and go for that dish! Salads were fresh and good, but not very large. The wine selections were fine. All in all, I'll give this place a 3.5 (good-very good).More

This is an excellent little spot with outstanding food. Some of the best food I've had anywhere. Had the pork shank, fork tender, excellent flavor, with by far the best polenta. The kitchen and chef are right by the entrance giving it a welcoming and...friendly vibe. I will be going back without question. Sever was great and friendly. Overall the great night.More

I thought the food at this place was really pretty tasty. We have to fear is almost exactly like I would expect it only required a little bit of doctoring in order to make it perfect. The only reason I didn't give it 4 stars...is because I was disappointed in the service. We received it in our section long before anyone else and we were the last folks to receive our order. When I said something about it there were no apologies offered just dumb looks. On top of all this we were seated outside and it started to rain while you're eating. Yeah we ate while being rained on. I guess that's a testament to how good the food was because I didn't get up and leave. I just wish it hadn't happened the way it didMore
