Nice ambiance and well-considered cooking. Dishes were fairly standard modern American fare (not too much Irish about the menu), and all we had were well prepared. We were there during winter and the place was pretty drafty, however, which knocked one star off of our...review: we were cold to the point of being uncomfortable.More

We showed up early so had no wait and chose to sit in the front room with its decorated windows rather than the back room which is more restaurant like. I heard they are moving soon, which is good, they need more room because they...are so popular. Obviously, people coming in had been more than once. Simple menu, to the point, with lots of local food and well prepared. We both loved our meals and were well satisfied without dessert. I'd definitely eat here again!More

We have NEVER had a meal we did not like at this long standing restaurant. It’s consistently good, and the service is great! When halibut is in season, it’s definitely a don’t miss! Gets crowded fast, reservations for 5 or more only so go when...they open at 5:30 or plan to wait (it’s worth it) or get turned away!More

How often have you chosen to eat at the same restaurant two evenings in a row?? This probably was our first time....and simply where else would we rather eat?? We had the privilege of meeting just part of the Corbett Family who hosts, serves and...assists in the kitchen? Delicious, healthy and creative, and marvelous friendships with these very special folks!! It’s worth the wait!More

We've been repeat visitors at the Irish Table for the entire ten years they have been open. We made our first visit the year they opened, on our honeymoon trip, and found the Irish Table a good enough draw to bring us from Seattle two...to three times a year since. Owned by a very food-savvy couple and staff by the owner's brothers, expect a very personable experience. The heart of the menus is Irish inspired with at least one featured very fresh fish offering each night. The soups are rich and satisfying, the salads fresh and local. We can eat here two or three times on a visit and never be bored This is a personal and delightful dining experience one can ONLY get at Cannon Beach, Don't miss it.More

I decided to give 4 stars based on the very fine service. I do have mixed feelings for the food and menu though. I was expecting something more with the wonderful reviews, but was disappointed with their items being offered. I ordered the vegetarian shepherds...pie which was good, but thought it was interesting to only have spinach and mushrooms in the pie. There was no fresh fish on the menu and that was strange since there is a huge port north. Salmon and halibut are seasonal but rockfish is fresh year round. The special the night we dined was a prawn dish. Prawns tend to be in warmer waters or mostly imported from Mexico. They offered a good selection of whiskey and scotch, but very few local wines. Yamhill and Dundee are just a short drive from Cannon Beach and I was hoping I would see more of these wines on the wine menu. The ambiance is nice and it felt warm and cozy to dine here. Service was excellent. I am not sure if I will go back as there are other good restuarants in Cannon Beach that I have enjoyed more.More

Split a beet salad, halibut special, and pork chop - and a coconut cream trifle - it was an amazing meal. Oh my!

We remembered The Irish Table as one of the best restaurants in Cannon Beach, so we returned two years later and found it to be at least as good! The atmosphere is still warm and friendly in this cozy, dimly-lit pub. And we appreciate that...there is always a vegetarian option on the menu. Last time there was a very good, crusty Wellington, stuffed with mushrooms and yams; this time, there was a tasty mushroom shepherd's pie. My wife again had the halibut, which had a nice sauce. We also enjoyed the hearty soda bread, which preceded the main meal. It is a bit pricey here, with the vegetarian dish costing $26 and the Halibut $30.More

We like to eat here because it’s close to our favorite hotel. The place has a cozy and warm feeling to it. The menu is small, but everything is excellent. Their drink prices are reasonable as well.
