We had a reservation for 8 to eat breakfast. Our host (Dee) was very nice and responsive. She did a great job considering Ann was out of town and a long time server departed the day before. We enjoyed our food and the array of tea pots all around the perimeter. We will be back.

We traveled from Italy to see the Oregon Coast and in our travel guide found Dee-Ann's Tea Room Cafe, so we tried it for breakfast. One of the owners (Dee) even served us herself. She was extremely friendly, happy to answer questions, and very warm and welcoming. But how about the food? Everything is homemade right in the restaurant. We... More

We went for breakast. One egg and sausage w/country fries and a biscuit ($8.50) and a bowl of oatmeal w/toast ($6.00), and coffee ($1.50 each). As we waited for our meal we could see the kitcken staff at work. It appeared that nearly everything took a turn in the microwave - incuding the bisciuts. After our order was delivered, we... More

We arrived just before closing. No problem. We were greeted, seated, and served. The food, everything made from scratch, was wonderful. The owner came over and we had a nice discussion about the local area, the people, even the ranch we were about to visit. The walls were decorated with 1400 teapots. Quite a collection. This is a wonderful little... More

I love the Home made pies, their quiche is always great. I eat here about 3 times a month. They close a 2 pm but the average age of customer is 68 so if you can handle that you will enjoy some good food. Very friendly and quaint - filled with teapots. Ask Dee about the teapot van.

Dee-Ann's Tea Room is by far the best food in the area. For those reviewers who were not pleased that is not the norm. All foods are prepared daily fresh and homemade recipes. Dee (the manager) and Barbara (the owner) attempt to add a variety of daily lunch specials that everyone will love. Dee makes all the pies, fresh cinnamon... More

The Tea Room Cafe is like going to your quirky Aunt's house for comfort food and home made pie. I think over a thousand tea pots must line the walls and the story goes that they are the collection of the original owner. Yes, they have a big variety of tea (of course) and a lot of personality. This is... More

This is a cozy, homey place with real homemade food. Fresh soups made daily, homemade pies, sandwiches you would make yourself if you had the ingredients. Friendly service. I get the sense that all the customers are regulars and are greeted by name often. Its not a "tea room" per se, but is decorated with many teapots.

I went in for breakfast while in town on vacation and was very disappointed. First the waitress made a tasteless comment about special olympics when she saw that I was wearing a special olympics jacket. I should have walked out then but I didn't. I ordered my food to go. A simple order of two eggs over easy, sausage and... More

I am so sorry your were not pleased with your breakfast. We have had a change in staff and hope you will give our new waitress a chance to make up for a bad experience. We make all of our foods fresh daily. Potatoes are the giant Idaho bakers - they are baked and then peeled, cut in cubes and... More

This is an older established restaurant in Brookings that your will find many a local. It is basic American food that your mom would make. I like the Chinese chicken salad. Very good dressing. This salad is made with iceburg which is appropriate for the recipe. Save room for dessert. Homemade pie made daily. Good service.
