I’ll show my bias right away by stating I’m a born and raised New Yorker. So my expectations for pizza when I moved to the west coast were high. We were staying nearby at a hotel and were craving pizza and the pictures looked like...they had the perfect thin oven crisped pizza we loved so we tried it. Don’t let the small place fool you; yes it’s tiny and during Covid I’m not sure about their indoor eating. However; the pizza can be eaten in a car so don’t let that stop you. If you like thin crust pizza and enjoy true brick oven taste, do yourself a flavor and eat here! Zola’s was added to our top three pizza places and we are proud to have it in our very picky list:) we lived in Cali for five years and only added two places out of dozens we tried. Finding this pizza place was amazing and while we live in Bandon now, we will drive the 1 1/2 here to eat it. Highly highly recommend!More
We were told that Zola's was the best pizza in town and I can see the potential, but Our first impression was not that good. I called in an order, requesting regular crust and they told us it would be about a half hour. When...I got there, they had lost the order and advised me that they would have my order in 10 minutes and give me a discount. All was well and good, but they brought me the order and the pizzas were thin crust and burned. I am hoping this was the exception rather than the rule as the pizzas tasted good (with the exception of being burned on the bottom).More
Near the water and just across the river from Brookings sits Zola's Pizzeria in the small town of Harbor, Oregon. What a fantastic setting for a pizza place. It is located in a new building with both indoor and outdoor seating areas. There is a...comfy bar as well with plexiglass separating the patrons from the bar keep. Several local and national beers are on tap. The night we were there to get a barbeque chicken pizza to go, there were some folks eating outside and some waiting to be seated inside. The pizzas are all hand made and cooked in a wood fired brick oven, just like in Italy. All in all this is a nice place to eat in or to take out.More
Stopped in for lunch, this is a very nice restaurant. Pleasant staff prompt an courteous service, food was good!
This is a great spot. Good food . It’s a consistent place to eat. Some things are better than others but I’ve not had anything I wouldn’t order again. Enjoy!
Fish and chips: $18 Small fish, no flavor but the steak fries were great. Asked for ketchup and got 3 packets 10 minutes later. Sweet tea was unsweetened and got replaced 15 mins later. Still unsweetened but bartender brought syrup to make it better. Yuk....Ordered a hamburger with no onions. It was loaded with onions with soggy buns. Never did see a waitress after we go the food. We will never go back.More
Road trips are grim lately, mainly due to the lack of places to eat. We stumbled upon Zola's while cruising along the water looking for a place to eat. What a savior. Indoor seating with appropriate spacing. They were very proud of their new pizza...oven so we ordered pizza. Their oven is a wood fired monster that turned out one of the best pies we have had for some time. Medium thickness crust that was cooked perfectly with a leopard spotted bottom and crunchy chewy edges. A huge ceasar salad and bottle of Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir and life was good again. Looking around the room we saw very large portions for all the dishes and lots of smiling faces.More
Stopped in at there new location (open about two months) next door to their old place. It is Beautiful, clean, nice atmosphere and terrific food, pizza and COLD 🥶 BEER 🍺. We had the 14” Margarita pizza, Greek salad and Blonde o tap beer. A...little bit spendy but well worth it. Will return a couple times before we leave!!!More
I'm a little bit nostalgic for the original venue but the pizza is still delicious with great local ingredients. The new venue is very nice ,both inside and outside. The pizza is always very good, Love the salad. Great place for children. Looking forward to...trying the expanded menu.More
