A quick stop for a winter lunch. Very friendly staff and wonderful aromas greeted us. I had the quiche. It was very hood. The consistency was a bit like an egg custard. It was very tasty and the portion was large. It is small and seating is in demand. Seems to be a very popular place....that should tell you something.... More

Sparrow has wonderful baked goods and sandwiches. We occasionally get to spend a weekend in Bend and always make it a point to stop there for breakfast, get an Ocean Roll and bacon sandwich. Always fresh and delicious! The place is small and funky and cozy. You can sit with your dog on the patio and look at the little... More

I go here because the tourists don't know about it and because its such a great place. If you try anything try the chai and the Ocean Roll. They are both musts. Limited seating inside and lots outside and sometimes the fire pit is on in the winter. Try it, you'll like it.

The Sparrow on Scott is a must viist. It is squeezed into what used to be the Old Mill's payroll office - complete with the safe still in place. The old brick building looks it's age, pat of the fun, but not as fun as ordering and getting fresh baked goodies of the first rate. Breakfast sandies, salads etc. too... More

The breakfast sandwich was ample enough to keep me full for hiking all morning and beyond. The sticky bun was a bonus treat. Their coffee was likewise excellent.

Love this little spot for a special treat on the mornings I can't quite rise and shine. Good coffee, tea. Great pastries. But the ocean rolls, that is why I go there. Smiling service.

No matter how few people are in Sparrow, they seem to take forever, and mess up every single order. It should not take 20 minutes to get 2 bagels heated and add some cream cheese. Then, they brought the wrong thing.... Argh, It is too stressful to go back. I am finally done.

Stumbled upon it for morning bite and coffee to go as we headed out for exploring Newberry Volcanic area. Went back next morning as well before trip to Crater Lake. Lots of customers. The line to order not well defined. Took forever to get an Americano and an ocean roll. Not sure if they do sit down orders first and... More

This is one of those little places that you only know exists by word of mouth. You must try the Cardamom latte and Ocean roll! Unforgettable!

We had some of the bakery's croissants at our daughter's house for brunch and couldn't believe what we were having. I split a ham one with my son and shared a fruit filled one. WOW! Thank you Sparrow's, I'm telling my friends to check you out on their travels through Bend.
