We bumped into some old friends and decided to go out for a beer. Deschutes was our choice because it just looked "right". Our waiter, probably the best waiter I've ever had, offered tastings of six beers before letting us decide which one was just right. I intended on getting a half pint - upped my order to a pint... A long time favorite of mine. Finally made it to the source of my desire - Bend, OR. What a treat. Took the tour of the brewery. It was the best "in house" tour I've ever taken. Informative, innovative, and just the right length of time before they let your try some samples! I'm so glad we get Deschutes here... More

I love brewpubs and this is one of the better ones, 2 floors, upstairs balcony, try and get seat there, it's great. Lots of beers, I had an IPA, was very good. Started with the Brewers pretzel, it paired well with the beer and was delicious. I had the Elk burger, wife had the classic burger, both were done properly,... More

Make reservations for the tour, it seems to fill up fast. But whether you take the tour or not you have an opportunity to taste at least 5 good sized tasters FOR FREE! They do a great job, but they are really busy. Enjoy their great selection of beer.

There was eight of us, but they quickly set up a table for us. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. Three of us had the smoked beef brisket; it was excellent. The vegetarian in the group said the tofu sandwich was the best she had every eaten. The dessert were to die for. The berry cobbler was huge and... More

There is a ton of great beer in Bend. That being said, Deschutes is still way up in the top as far as taste. The Fresh Squeezed IPA is, in my opinion, the best beer available. As far as the brew pub goes, it is pretty standard. Overpriced burgers, salads, apps. Same as most.

We visited the original location on Bond Street in downtown Bend and had a terrific waiter. My wife had a glass of the Deschutes cider and really found it refreshing and to her taste. I tried a sampler of six of the Deschutes beers and enjoyed them all. Deschutes primarily brews IPS' but their Porter was outstanding. I particularly liked... More

Have enjoyed Deschutes beers from afar, first time to visit the Bend Public House. During the very busy Oktoberfest weekend, was able to get a seat at the bar. Despite what appeared as total Oktoberfest chaos, everything was in order. My waitperson was delightful, very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, well informed about the beers, and most of all happy. Enjoyed... More

Came here after being unable to secure any service at a local pizza place. Very happy to have changed, great food, great service, great beer, and fast despite being really full. Highly recommend!

If I could I would give 10 stars to this restaurant. We found nothing wrong even the wait which was only about 15 minutes. Food, beer, decor are all excellent. Try the cajun mac n cheese. It's not spicy at all, just very tasty. We both had a cod dish, fish n chips and cod cakes, both were delicious, pub... More

On February 1st 2012, nearly 25 years after our Bond Street Public House opened as the original home of Deschutes Brewery, we tapped the keg on a new era. Our newly expanded Pub offers more space, more seats, more service and one long-awaited less: wait times. As always, our talented team of chefs use only the finest ingredients, with an emphasis on fresh and handcrafted products. Everything possible, including sausage, breads and mustard is made on premise. Even your burger will come from local beef partially raised on feed recycled from our brewing process. And Bond Street remains your ringside seat on limited batch and experimental brews as well as year-round classic brews.
