We went there to celebrate a friends birthday. I told my wife we were just going to enjoy and don't worry about the price. I expected at least a Ruth Cris@ quality for the price. I had a Cajun seasoned Rib Steak and my wife...had the Steak Oscar. 1st: We went out to have an excellent steak, prime meat. Meat was probably grass fed, and USDA good to choice. It most certainly was not PRIME. 2nd. Sear you steaks! There is a lot of flavor lost when you roast them in an oven. 3rd. Don't call a semi-tough dry steak a Prime rib steak, really? 4th. $20 corking fee because we wanted to bring the birthday girl her favorite wine? Please..... 5th. The filet was OK but the Oscar was flavorless. Much better in Vegas which is further from the Crab.More

My wife and I went on date night and chose to return here. Have eaten here several times and have never had a complaint. Ordered crab cakes as appetizer and my wife said they were the best she's had. She ordered the fillet and I...had New York. Both cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. I don't remember our servers name, but he was awesome. A little expensive, but you get what you pay for. Worth every penny.More

My wife and I went to the Brickhouse for dinner last night and it was very disappointing. Our waiter knew very little about the wine list, although he was quick to volunteer that he enjoyed drinking Pinot Noir. When we conveyed that the sauce in...our crab cocktail was smothered with horseradish to the point it was difficult to taste the dungeness crab ( the little that was served for $18 ), he suggested we order it on the side next time. Caesar was mediocre as the dressing was bland. Our ravioli was good, but a bit on the spicy side. It is highly likely we will not return. Very expensive for the value received.More

This restaurant is grossly overrated and is living on its past laurels. An extremely noisy environment making it quite difficult to hold a conversation with your partner. Their $49 Waygu filet is mediocre at best. We won't return.

My friend and I both had a delicious salmon salad and marionberry cobbler. Both were scrumptious, and we were delighted with our choices.

We had the salmon and halibut special fresh fish. Really well cooked and presented and tasted great. Extensive wine list with many by the glass and brilliant service. Strongly recommended.

You must try this place! Everything we had was amazing starting with the strawberry lemonade, the bread, peppercorn steak, filet mignon and lobster. It was such an excellent meal. The service was exceptional. Spendy meal, but worth every penny!

Took some meat loving guests to the Bend location. I ordered the $39 halibut which was supposed to be crusted but the cook evidently did not take time to heat up the oil because it was just oil soaked. My wife's prawns were overcooked as...well. It's like getting soaked twice! Pretty rookie move for a cook on an expensive piece of fish. The waitress was great and the drinks did what they are supposed to do but overall this is one of those restaurants that is located in a fun part of Bend and sometimes your emotions can over rule your taste buds. I know, "well it IS a meat house" I was told. just thought the chef might have some talents with other proteins.. (especially when charging $39!) If you like meat, then you will love the meat.More

Most restaurants in Bend are business casual to casual. If you decide on a suit, you may have people staring as it is unusual. But with that said, my wife always likes to dress up once in awhile when we go out. So I always... More
