Lamb is one of my favorite foods but unfortunately all of the lamb dishes I have tried at Karam Lebanese Restaurant have been overcooked, very dry and disappointing. Beyond that I have enjoyed the other dishes I have sampled in particular their chicken kabab plate....The service is excellent, and the prices are quite reasonable. Although I generally bypass desserts, they also have a nice selection of Lebanese/Mediterranean desserts which look quite tasty. I really want to like this restaurant more than I do and if not for my disappointment in their lamb dishes I would have ranked this restaurant higher.More

We recently purchased a Dinner for four groupon deal, which included any four entrées, soup or salad for each guest, and a choice of desserts for eac hof us. With two friends joining us, we stopped by the deli to place our order, planning to...do a walk in the area and eventually take the food home to enjoy there. Meeting there in person allowed each of us to choose our own dessert, and those were outstanding, especially their Nutella, a hazelnut concoction which was everyone's favorite. For entrees, we ordered a Chicken Shawarma Platter, Chicken Kabob Salad, Majadra Platter and a Falafel Plate. Two of us had side salads, and two lentil soup, which included split peas. Bread was also included. All in all we liked everything. It was fun to do take-out and enjoy the food in our home, but we'd not hesitate to eat there either, although there's not a lot of seating, so it might be best to not go around peak dining times. We got a huge bargain with our groupon, but prices are fair anyway, especially the desserts with ours being priced around $5.50 each. I'll share a picture of our four desserts, so pretty and yummy, a perfectly decadent finish to our meal.More

We had no idea this gem was hidden in plain sight. Family run, if I read the poster right. Three brothers and their children. Awesome! There are two ways you can order, from the menu or from the check list. 6 items from the check...list for under $10. So many things to try, everything was so delicious. Don't be afraid to try something different and new. You will enjoy it. The French pastries and middle eastern desserts are beautiful to looks at and tasty. We can't wait to go back for lunch. Went with friends and we all got something different and shared. Everything was great and they had many things we hadn't tried before. The same for the pastries, oh, so French! Good coffee and tea. You order your food from the deli case, unique for...Portland, kind of east coast.More

We tried Karam Lebanese Deli for the first time during lunch today, and loved it! The owner was very helpful as we decided on menu items. Everything was fresh and delicious. The garden salad was crisp and there was enough to share; the lentil soup...was delightfully unlike the American verion (and yay, it wasn't salty), the chicken kabobs with onions and peppers were thick and cooked to perfection; the humus with fresh, warm pita bread was excellent, and the Kafta kebabs were tasty, too. We topped it off with a delicious coconut hazelnut cake and some baklava. The deli was neat and clean. Other customers who entered the deli were greeted warmly. We were as impressed with the owner and staff as we were with the food. We will definitely come back for more!More

Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. Walking in the door what a nice surprise. Cases full of elegant baked goods and fantastic food. Fresh pita bread, of course. We ordered tabouleh, olives, arnabeet, beef mihshi, spinach & beef fatayer, mnaqish biz-za tar. Some of...the best hummus I have had. All fantastic. Baked goods were tempting so we didn't resist. Baklava, regular, pistachio, cashew, chocolate and almond. A praline cake and petit four. All wonderful, not eaten all at once of course! Quality is high, food is great!More

We stopped by Karam several times in the past, lured in by the dessert display case near the front door. My wife has also stopped by to pick up takeout orders for her workplace. When she came across a Groupon for Karam, we decided to...stop by for dinner. The Groupon special included a main entree including a dinner side salad as well as a selection from the dessert case. My wife and I had different kabobs: I had the chicken while she opted for the lamb kabobs. Both were excellent, just the right side for dinner without leaving us stuff. That was good because it left plenty of room for dessert, which is a do-not-miss event at Karam. Karam always has a variety of decadent and delectable desserts, of which at least half are dark chocolate. Chocoholics will always be able to find something appealing. We had a slice of a dark chocolate dessert cake, and took a slice of baklava to go. The cake was excellent and rich, a great finish to dinner. The dining area is relatively cozy with about ten small tables. The deli case runs down the side of the long narrow dining area, and you can see what some of their menu choices are. Service is friendly and punctual. Karam is located in a strip mall along with a variety of other businesses. There is ample parking right in front of the restaurant. They are definitely on our lists of places to eat--or to give into impulses and pick up a decadent dessert.More

We first discovered Karam at a local grocery store via their hummus, which has no added oil, is available in various flavors, and is incredibly good. Since then they have changed their grocery store label to Great Cedar. Learning that Karam was local we visited...their Cedar Hills restaurant and started buying hummus "direct" and eating there regularly. Being vegan we love their falafel sandwiches and some of their deli items - we wish they had more vegan choices! We are not gluten free but introduced friends whose family is all celiac, and they totally love this place. This is a wonderful family run business that has earned loyal customers.More

This is a very nice, clean, deli with a great selection of Lebanese food. We each ordered spanakopita, and we shared an order of roasted cauliflower. They also served us hot pita bread, right out of the oven. I haven't eaten spanakopita in years, and...it was really delicious, as well as the roasted cauliflower and pita bread. I couldn't believe how inexpensive it was to eat here, for good, quality food. I will definitely come back here often. (This was my first time eating here.)More
