This place was fun. Friendly and enthusiastic wait staff and an extensive menu. The portions are huge. This is not a good place for those counting calories. :)

This is easily the best breakfast place in Beaverton. However, if you visit during their peak hours on the weekend, you should be prepared for a long wait to be seated. The staff do a fairly good job of cleaning the tables expeditiously but the sheer number of customers can inflate the wait times beyond 30 minutes at times. Food... More

We went here with our two daughters and their young children. The staff were gracious and accomodating for our large group of 4 adults and 5 children (ages 4-8). The portions were generous and the food was good. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and the amount of food in each category. We felt like our needs were... More

The staff is friendly from the moment you come in to when you leave. The food is good proportions and prepared the way you want. Love this place!

We had to wait over an hour because the restaurant failed to accommodate a party of 5. Food was underwhelming. Eggs were not seasoned and corn been hash lacked hash. They do over a discount for staying at the Comfort Inn across the street.

5 mins drive west of Hwy 217 and close to the Beaverton Central Max Station, the Black Bear is a friendly, spacious diner serving substantial breakfasts with friendly employees and no pressure to hurry up and move on. So, great for a working business breakfast but also good for a family morning out. Food was served quickly and there's ample... More

There was a time that i thought the Black Bear Diner in Mt Shasta was the only one, because of the small town family atmosphere. Now I know this is a regional chain with diners in California, Oregon and Washington. I have visited several, and this one more than once. Its pretty predictable for service and quality, and at a... Went with family for a birthday breakfast. Had the buttermilk waffle and bacon/eggs side. The waffle was great, the portions are large for the price. Totally reasonable. Crayons and paper to color on for the kids. On Saturdays, the "bear" (black bear costume) walks all around the restaurant and says hello and waves. My son loves it and hugs him... More

Went in on 10/5/16 at 6:30. My girl ordered the taco salad and I ordered the reuben. I was delighted at the size of the taco salad and the amount of french fries that came with my sandwich. The first fry was cold and I thought maybe only a few were like this so continued on. As It turned out... More
