Quiet Friday night at McGrath's. Bread was the highlight, with 2 fish lovers and 4 different types of fish. Probably won't be back.

We've always had reasonably good food here- but we save this place for off-hours because there can be a very long wait for dinner on weekends. The place can be loud when it's busy. The halibut with a parmesan crust is my personal favorite, and they don't overcook it, which is nice. The cole slaw is mediocre but their fries... More

We have been here many times and it keeps getting worse. The food is tattles. I had the simp Louie and the scant bit of dressing was tasteless. My fish the Astoria was ok. My wife had the fish tacos and she sent them back because the was very little fish and was bland. Not a good experience.

Decent food at reasonable prices. Great variety of food, but I would not recommend for those expecting upscale food. Good family atmosphere.

We were promptly seated and our server was very informative about the menu. We had some questions and asked for recommendations. We were given several recommendations based on what we liked. I got the Halibut with prawns and lobster sauce. It was excellent. The service was great, the food was great and I felt like I got a good value... More

Really good food. Top notch service. The decor is warm and welcoming. The menu is diverse enough to satisfy most pallets. There is usually plenty of parking and when the lot is full, there is still parking on the street.

What went wrong: We went early and very few patrons & NO greeting from the front desk rather jammed a beeper into our hands -end of interaction --then after 10 minutes led to our booth(hardly anyone there((why the wait?)) Then our Calamari appetizer(always my test of a good place---will they be crisp or more like rubber bands)-they were rubber bands... More

Service was prompt and helpful. My wife ordered halibut and chips and I ordered bacon-wrapped shrimp, Her salad was large and impressive; my chowder was a bit bland.. The main courses were ample and delicious, Deserts were great. I could have appreciated a better wine list but all in all it was a good experience. We will return - if... More
