When our writing group planned a retreat to Bandon, one of the pluses was being able to dine at Alloro! I'd been here a few years earlier for a memorable meal. Everyone in our group was very happy with the menu choices and their meals. An unexpected treat was live music on a Monday night! We all left with full... More

My Ahi Tuna over black rice and some vegetable I never heard of before was a "Ten!" I tried to eat slowly to make it last. Every bit was wonderful. And the owner was again very friendly. Living in a tourist town, we have quite a few good restaurants, but this one is the most superb.

When it come to satisfying the taste buds, Alloro is certainly the best place to dine in Bandon! My husband and I, are two foodies spoiled by New York and Europe restaurants, who also cook at home using extensive cookbook collection. The most memorable about Alloro was the flavor! It has a character, and it has a style, which reminded... More

This pleasantly decorated wine bar/restaurant was an amazing surprise to discover in rustic coastal Bandon OR. Food was great; appropriately sized portions - we shared the charcuterie platter to start; the Tuscan sausage pappardelle and still had room to enjoy a truly good tiramisu! We had asked questions about the Tecatu liqueur on the menu so the male owner gave... More

It was such a delight meeting you. Thank you for your thoughtful and kind words. May we kindly request, since you were so pleased, that you re-score your "1" which is viewed as the lowest rating here on TA? We hope that isn't an inappropriate request. During a long and tired drive from Brookings to Portland that began at the end of a long meeting at 3 pm, I was staying awake and focused on the road only because I knew that the Bandon Coffee Roaster would be able to fire me up for the push to Portland. Unfortunately, I arrived to a dark locked up... More

Excellent menu choices with a great stock of wines to go with each selection! One usually cannot find a restaurant of such high quality in small coastal communities. I would recommend this for the most discriminating foodie!!

We dined at Alloro's for our 31st anniversary last night. The evening started out very well with some delicious Oregon rabbit soup and a great Cote du Rhone (at 20% off!), but by the time our entree arrived so had a group of about 8 obnoxious, totally rude and completely oblivious loud golfers from nearby Bandon Dunes. Even though we... More

We enjoyed a near perfect meal at the Alloro this past weekend. I took four close friends and we were all happy. We started with an antipasto platter and a seared scallop appetizer that were both excellent and were washed down with a Willamette Valley Pinot Gris. For our entrees three of us had the seafood stew that was beautifully... More
