This cheerfully decorated Mexican restaurant serves good quality, authentic food with a smile. You are greeted with a bowl of chips and salsa, and your order will arrive within a reasonable time. The portions are good sized( but not huge), and the food is well prepared and everything is fresh. You will find all variations of your Mexican faves. We... More

The family that owns El Erradero (they dropped the "H" in "Herradero" because they feared the "H" would get pronounced) knows how to run a Mexican restaurant. All the staples are here, and they're done well. Nothing out of the ordinary, nothing risky, nothing surprising. Which is probably exactly what a Mexican restaurant in Baker City should be. Service is... More

I have been to this restaurant several times. The service is excellent and the food is authentic! What I especially like about this restaurant is that they give back to the local community. The restaurant started in Baker City but other branches have been started in other cities as well. A well known place that locals eat, including the locals... More

I had enchilada swizza, my husband had a smothered burrito. Portions were reasonable, not too large or small. Food quality was good, nothing particularly memorable. Prices are reasonable, a good value for the food. The margarita was too sweet.

Although the wait staff was friendly, the service was a bit slow- even though it appeared that they had more than enough staff. Food was just ok and a bit pricey compared to what we get in Chicago.

I think this is the only Mexican restaurant in town and it definitely met our needs. We were spending one night in a local B&B and had a craving for Mexican food. The servo was very friendly. Chips and salsa were plentiful and delicious. I offered a chile verde tostada and my husband had the tacos with carne asada. Both... More

Reasonably priced and good service. Don't expect El Erradero to be like the food South of the Border, but more like Americanized Mexican food. We would recommend it when passing through Baker City.

Over the past several years we've eaten at other El Erradero restaurants in Oregon. As usual the service was prompt, the chips and salsa were great, and the shrimp dishes were outstanding for spiciness, taste, and an abundance of shrimp. Nothing fancy, not a wonderful beer selection, but well worth the price.

The food was very good. There is plenty of seating so it would be perfect if you had a large group. The serving size is average and the price was reasonable.

Found ourselves in town on our way back home. Hungry and needed to meet the dietary needs ad several family members. Happy to have found a solution at El Erradero. We ordered 5 meals to take out. All were well packaged and they gave us plenty of silverware and napkins. Food stayed warm and was easy to eat by the... More
