I was out on errands and thought about stopping in and picking up dinner. I called in my order when I was at 21st and Harvard and come directly to pick it up which is approximately 10 minutes. I didn't check my order just picked...it up and left. The fries were greasy, the mushrooms were soft. The chicken fried chicken was dry. I was truly disappointed because I know The Brook can do better. The salad had 'glops' of cheese on it and the tomatoes were flat (old). I was there around 12/1 so its not like it was the end of the night service. I just wasted my money and am writing this review because the fault was the kitchen and being uncaring. Shame on you Brook...Wilson (yes I put my name)More

We stopped for late lunch after trip to gathering place. Got the cheesy fries for an appetizer. Good tasting but fries were greasy even fir ones not covered in cheese (assume frying grease not hot enough?). Kids menu items were actually very good. Corn dogs...and chicken tenders. Mac n cheese were very good! All adults got variety of wraps (blackened, buffalo, etc.) which were all tasty and filling. Parking was atrocious in the area but the restaurant has customer parking in rear which is great.More

Average Bar / Diner / American Food. The Brook Restaurant and Bar in south Tulsa. The food is good, the service is good and the portions are plentiful. I had a chicken sandwich with a side salad and either was a full meal by itself....The Cuban salad was very good. The service is fairly fast for lunch. It is worth a try if you are in the area.More

This was my second visit hoping the experience would be different, an improvement from the first visit in November 2018, but NOPE, the experience was worse. My colleagues and visited the restaurant for our lunch break. We walked in, there was no one to greet...us at the host/hostess stand. We stood there for five minutes as several waitstaff passed by, looked at us, didn't great us, and kept moving. My colleague had to holler and ask if they were serving lunch. Finally, someone came to seat us. The menus were filthy and the waitress had a nasty attitude. The food was plentiful but subpar. I have definitely scratched this place off my list of eateries in Tulsa, OK. In comparison, one would get better service at McDonald's.More

The kid at the Hertz counter said Brook's was his favorite restaurant, so we tried it. I ordered the chicken fried steak, without gravy or potatoes. If you like thick crispy breading, this is your dish! I loved it! I ate a third of it...and the breading stayed crispy in the fridge and microwave for two more meals for my husband and me. He did not like his hand cut fries, but as a potato scientist he is a fry snob.More

My wife and I had dinner last night at the Brook. It's one of my favorite places in Tulsa. Located in the heart of Historic Brookside the restaurant has been here for many years and remains pretty much unchanged in all the years I've been...coming here. I had my go-to meal, the fish & chips. There are many Pubs and seafood places that do not have fish & chips nearly as good as they have at the Brook. 4 pieces of fish, with home made chips ( french fries ). Served with a side of home made tartar sauce & lemon wedges, it is a big meal. My wife had the half order of chicken nachos. A half order is still a big order. A full order is large enough for 3 people to share. The food came out in about 15 minutes. It was very busy for a Monday night. The bar was mostly full and there was a big crowd in the dining areas. All the servers were busy and everyone seemed to be having a good time. There was an OKC Thunder game on the Big screen TV. There are many TV's around the restaurant with a variety of sports. Moderately priced menu items, with daily specials that are a real bargain. Good to see some things never change.More

I visited the Brook while visiting Tulsa over the holidays for Sunday lunch. We arrived around 1pm. There were several groups waiting in the lobby. The hostesses were very friendly and attentive and let us know they would seat us in about 10 minutes. We...were seated in about 5 minutes. Our group ordered a variety of meals and we all shared. Everything was very good, especially the Mac and cheese and the burger. The service was friendly and fast. I would most definitely recommend this restaurant and will visit again when back in Tulsa.More

Slightly off the beaten path but well worth it. Great place for a bigger group. Enough food on your plate to share. Service was great.

The large bar area has a lot of TVs, and is a fun place to watch sports. The food here is also VERY good, portions are on the large side. The dining area is also large, and there is something for EVERYONE on the menu.

The brook always has the best food, my favorite are the cheese fries. This place is very family-friendly. I enjoy going there because of not only food, but the kind waiters and waitresses.
