This place is not in the best location but we have never felt unsafe. Not fancy, but delicious! Try the Wet Burrito! Service is quick and friendly. Great prices. Recommend a visit.

The best food is always in the sketchiest areas. Love eating here. The tacos are my favorite, can eat more than you ever will, so don't even think about trying to take my title.

Dry, not authentic enchilada combo. Shrimp fajita burrito just ok. Nice servers and simple setting. Cheap price. Chips and salsa mediocre.

I ordered the wet burrito with lengua. Nice flavor and the meat was cooked correctly. Sliced in small enough pieces to be tender, and yet large enough to be enjoyed. Great beans with stick with it flavor, although the rice is a little bit flat in flavor. Service was good to almost great. The chips were good and the house... More

Love this place when I visit Tulsa from South Carolina. The chicken fajita burrito "wet" is my absolute favorite thing to get here. The standard Wet Burrito is their signature dish, but I prefer having the onions and peppers that come on the fajita burrito. You can just order it wet and they will cover it in sauce and cheese.... Truly authentic great tasking Mexican food. Love the "wet burrito". Careful if you ask for extra spicy that you actually want it extra spicy.

If you are ready for a real Mexican food meal...El Rio Verde is your ticket to Paradise! The shrimp ceviche was heavenly and spicy! Cheese and beef enchiladas with rice and refried beans were perfect. We ordered takeout...very quick service. Restaurant was busy so go early..IF you have to wait for a table...you will be glad you waited! Plus they... More

I hate to give this place mixed reviews. I so badly wanted it to be a gem that we stumbled upon. Both my friend and I got their signature chicken Wet Burrito. The only difference was mine had tomatoes and onions added in. I also got sliced lemon in my Sierra Mist and she didn't. Anyway It wreaked havoc on... More

While visiting Tulsa, OK, the wife and I had a free evening to find an out of the way establishment for dining. This restaurant came highly recommend by locals. Located in an industrial area, but personal safety was not an issue. The place was small with maybe 10 or 12 tables and aged, but was comfortable. The food was real... More

El Rio Verde has great food, friendly service, and good pricing--but you have to understand what it is and what it is not. It is NOT Tex Mex, gourmet, or Baja Mexican food. It is the kind of food and restaurant that you would find in a typical small village where people who work hard for a living go to... More
