Very excited to try this restaurant but disappointed in the quality of the quality of the food. We had heard amazing things so, maybe, they just had an off night. To clarify, the service was great. Our waiter Nick, was amazing. Great ingredients; their claims were valid. But the preparation was inadequate. The hamburgers buns were so tough that every... More

We came for our anniversary dinner and were not disappointed. We were early to get a half-price appetizer and sat in the bar area. The atmosphere was casual, and the bartender and servers friendly and prompt. Signature Juniper martini had a nice flavor but not much alcohol. Mushroom frits were melt-in-your mouth delicious with saffron aioli sauce to die for.... More

This sweet little bistro is well worth the visit. My friend and I both found the carrot soup (a Juniper specialty) to be fantastic--the best either of us had ever had. We also liked the Brown Butter Trout, though the vegetables with it were just so-so. Good atmosphere and very creative menu. Worth the visit.

Went with a group and everyone had an exceptional meal. The carrot soup is ridiculously good and we will all go back for that alone!! The $15 hamburger was incredible as were the fries. Spectacular value! Weekly special was a vegetarian Indian stew that was top rate. Desserts are worth both the wait and the calories. Just let your server... More

First and last visit to Juniper in downtown Tulsa. Destination restaurant in theory. The server was great and that is sad because the bar and the kitchen cut his legs out. The wine pour was skimpy and come on at the price you can add another ounce. My spouse had the $54 fixed prix and it was awful. The fish... More

Good restaurant, fine food. Thing is, my wife and I were seated near a very large group that, bu definition, was loud (now at all obnoxious, but simply happy and loud). We could not have a conversation. When I complained, the owner moved us to a table neat a live jazz trio (really good) and comped us a few drinks.... More

We went for a date night dinner on 5/14/16, a Friday night. We have had some friends that have raved about this place for a few years and had been their go to restaurant. We hadn't talked about Juniper in a while. When I told them we were going to try it, they did warn me that the quality of... More

The food here is sooo good! Farm to table. I had a mushroom and pasta dish that I really enjoyed. The Okie Sour was good too. Great meal, great atmosphere. The menu changes I think with the seasons.

Ate at the bar. Food was excellent and not an overwhelming quantity. They are very serious about beer, and have an excellent selection. Got to participate in an impromptu tasting of a beer they were thinking about serving. Was also given lots of advice about other good places to eat in town, and other things of interest to do. A... Monday, April 25th. Very, very disappointing. I've been a lunch regular for 3+ years and have seen (and tasted) the quality of the food and presentation deteriorate steadily over the last year. It hit rock bottom today at lunch. I embarrassed myself by singing Junipers praises to my two guests prior to arrival. Obviously, new (poor, if not horrible) cooks,... More

Description
Our award-winning third street bistro changes with the seasons to bring our guests creative, modern cuisine focused on locally sourced ingredients hand picked by our vendors partners. Juniper boasts a beautiful and intimate downtown setting with it's rustic brick columns, commissioned art by some of Tulsa's newest and best artists, and touches of warmth throughout. Designed and constructed by hand by proprietor Chef Justin Thompson and driven by some of Tulsa's most talented chefs, Juniper offers a special and fun dining experience. In addition to our seasonal menus, enjoy our signature 5-course Prix Fixe menu with Sommelier selected wine pairings, one of the many selections from our weekly Chef's specials menu, or a savory treat off of the bar menu in our beautiful bar. Pair the evening with a craft cocktail utilizing one of our own house-infused vodkas, gins, and flavored bitters and while you're here, don't forget to take a peak at our alleyway garden where we grow our own herbs. For a night out before a show, a special dinner with friends, or an intimate dinner for two, Juniper is always in season.
