My husband and I had ordered dinner. My husbands meal was brought to the table, meanwhile I was informed the meat to make the Ruben sandwich I had ordered was frozen! So my husband ate his meal alone, while I sat there! I will u very go back to steak and eggs. Very poor service.

You can get steak here for under 15.00 and the cook cooks it to your specification exactly. I have eaten here several times over the year with three people and the check never $40.00. They seem to have issues with dinner customers. There usually aren't any when we come in. I do not know why. The menu is vast and... More

With Steak and Eggs I have experienced bad service. The waitress I had didn't refill my drinks. Messed up on my order. Said it was because she forgot to put in the order for my french toast and the French Toast is what came out cold. The food took forever to get to us and most was cold already.

Homemade biscuits were ok, then they threw some chopped up low quality sausage on them and covered them with a gravy that tasted like wall paper paste. Called it sausage gravy. There is another place 1/2 block to the north that is much better and cheaper.

Had to send the plate back because the food was cold. They just threw it in the microwave and it didn't even get hot. server promised hot food prior to the order going to the cooks and it still came out cold. never coming back. cooks must think they are comedians because something was obviously hilarious that they had to... When you walk in and the floors are dirty, the glasses have a greasy film on them, it doesn't do much for your appetite.

Steak and Eggs reminds me of the old cafe or diner from my childhood. The breakfast is incredible, and if you leave hungry, that is your fault! They have a great Chicken Fried Steak, Chef Salad, Chili Mac, and I could go on for quite a while. Service is typically great, but seems to have a lot of turnover, so... More

We had a terrific breakfast. I had the two eggs with ham. By the time you add the hash browns, biscuit and gravy, it was more than enough food. Service was slow. We only seen our waitress when we ordered and when we got our food, but the food made up for it.
