Office Lunch

Our Office usually picks this restaurant for our lunch. Easy to order and pick up! Always wonderful food and super friendly service!

Yummy food, friendly courteous wait staff, Great value for price I would recommend . Since my friends lunch at Asian Star frequently we have our favorites . My favorite is chicken in garlic sauce. This comes with an abundance of vegetables and “feels” healthy. Soups are excellent as well

Good food

We eat about once a month here and have always found the food to be good. The prices are reasonable and the service is good. The portions are large, usually we bring home some leftovers. The restaurant is right on the main highway through town in a small shopping center with plenty of parking. We have never found it to be crowded, but I think it should be because like I said the food is good.

Price of Rice

The food wasn't to bad but we were turned off by an added cost. We ordered their premium meals and I requested regular white rice instead of the fried rice. When the waitress brought the meals she brought white rice for my wife as well. I explained only I had ordered the white rice and my wife wanted the fried rice. She said OK but it would cost us $2.00 more. I was surprised but she actually charged the extra $2.00 for the fried rice which should have come with the meal. Also we received small portions of rice and when we ran out, we ran out with no offering of additional rice. So I ate the last third of my plate with no rice. I won't be back

Good fast Chinese food

I have had lunch and Dinner here several times. It looks like a fast food takeout place from the front but is a full service restaurant and has great take out as well. The only negative I have is the meals togo are not as big as they should be. They should fill the container and I have yet to experience that yet.

Good Chinese Food

Stopped by for lunch and food was good. Actually, I prefer to order from menu and not get food from buffet since I know food is fresh cooked. Had sweet/sour chicken and it was really good, did not care as much for the fried rice due to some type of pork cooked with the rice…not bad just not my cup of tea. Lunch serving portion was plenty and service was good. Located in a strip center and can easily be missed. Overall a nice place to stop for lunch

Ordered takeout and brought it back to the hotel. Very tasty. Large portions. No plastic ware given in bag. Good thing I had extras in car.

Major letdown

I wanted so bad for this place to be good. It was terrible. I cannot believe all the good reviews. I got sweet and sour chicken and fried rice as a side. The chicken was ok, appeared to be frozen, not made there. The rice was ok. My fiance got chicken fried rice, it was the same rice with some snow white chicken in it that had the texture of foam, possibly frozen compressed chicken cut into strips. There was no flavor. The egg rolls were exactly like the frozen ones you can buy at any store. We were both highly diappointed. You know the food isn't fresh when it literally takes two minutes to come out after ordering. We won't be back and I wouldn't recommend it.

Best Chinese Restaurant I Have Ever Been To!

This was the only place in town open on Christmas, so we ate dinner here. It was awesome! We got our food to go, and for $27, we got two dinner entrees, a soup, and spring rolls. It was enough to be stuffed that night and have lunch the next day. There are dinner combos you can get for $7.99 if you are looking for something a little less expensive. I had the Happy Family, which was fantastic, and he had the Dragon Meets Phoenix, which was good but too sweet for us. When you get orders to go, they put your entree in a box, then serve the rice on the side, which I loved. A lot of places stuff the rice in there so you don't get as much of the main course. The rice is steamed, so if you want fried rice, be sure to specify when you order. The wonton soup was fabulous. The wontons were so huge. Again, I'm used to tiny wontons and all broth. The spring rolls were awesome. The food was not greasy, and the restaurant was very clean. Eat here!!!!!

Must stop here -- great Asian food

The food is quite good and not greasy. I customarily order #44 Fun noodles spicy (but I cut the spice in half). My order only takes a few minutes from ordering. Lots of local, including myself, enjoy knowing that the restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. I eat here at least four times a month and am very choosey where to eat and spend my hard earned money. Also, to be proud to serve their food in my home, when I'm too tired to cook. Please enjoy.

I love Asian Star's flavor! Love to get take out and eat at home or work! They are usually very fast and their chicken fried rice is delicious.

I've eaten here fairly often. The food is usually good but somewhat pricey. The waitress we usually have is great. I wish they would offer pineapple, peppers and onion sauted with the sweet and sour instead of just sauce and fried popcorn chicken. The sweet and sour chicken is usually good but very bland and Americanized. I would recommend this place to others.

Takes FOREVER to get your food, staff is not friendly, food is barely even average & their prices are OUTRAGEOUS !!!

I only made the mistake of eating here ONCE, not even willing to try it again, not even if someone else was buying, I'd drink hot tea if I were a guest but other than that, NEVER AGAIN will I waste my time, money or effort to eat here as they are very unfriendly !! I would NOT recommend it to anyone, but if you like the place then you are very patient, don't mind being treated rudely, have no qualms over paying for small portions & are IMHO, extremely easy to please !!!!

Great Oriental Food

For Oriental food this is one of our favorite places to eat locally. The food is very good, fresh, and plentiful. The menu is extensive. Our last meals there fed us twice with the doggy bag that we took home. The prices are very reasonable. (This restaurant does not have a buffet, I think that Jason C is referring to another restaurant in town.) The décor is spartan. The staff is friendly and efficient. You are generally greeted just after you walk in the door. Orders are taken quickly and the food arrives promptly. You are never made to feel rushed as they have plenty of tables and are seldom full.

Large selection of lunches and dinners available with reasonable prices and plentiful portion sizes. Everyone in our group got something different and we were all satisfied. Also, food items are in red that are spicy. Will definitely eat here again.
