Consistency Is THE key!

Have been a solid fan of this family restaurant for YEARS! You want "fusion"...go elsewhere. You want really good ingredients? DO FORTUNE!

I have been going to this place for over 10 yrs. Alway's good food and fast service. Even when I call in it's alway's ready when I get there. Hot and fresh. And server's are great!!

A small Chinese restaurant in northwest Oklahoma City that serves excellent food dishes.

A family gathering for lunch that proved an excellent choice for our dining experience. We met at the Fortune Chinese Restaurant once again our oriental food fix. Portions were large and hot and our server looked after us.

This is probably the dirtiest restaurant I've ever been in. The tables are so sticky, you really don't want to put your hand down. The salt and pepper shakers probably haven't seen a dish washer in years. The other condiments just look greasy and totally nasty. If the front looks this bad, where customers can see, I can not imagine what the kitchen looks like. The Health Dept. really needs to take a look at this place.

This place is horrible and I will NEVER return or give them any of my business which is because I used to like the place. The food used to be pretty decent but now it's terrible. It had no flavor at all. We got 3 sodas in bottles, a dr pepper and two sprites and all three of them we're flat and syrupy. My daughter's drank all of theirs before I looked at the dates and realized the expiration dates were all dated from 2022 with the oldest dated in January 2022. We were disappointed and disgusted to say the least. I regret the $50 I spent with the $5 tip. It will never happen again with this place

I really don't like giving bad reviews! My husband and I were looking for good Chinese food and had read several of the reviews for this restaurant. Very disappointing. My husband had sweet and sour pork and he said it was ok, not great! I ordered the General Tso chicken. It was barely warm and the meat was either really dried out or it was not chicken. I took one bite and didn't touch the rest of my meal. The lady was polite and asked if I liked it and I just shook my head no. I really have a hard time being rude. Anyway, it was very disappointing and a waste of money. For $9 bucks you get your main dish and some rice. Nothing else. I really do not recommend this restaurant.

Good food, hot tea, and restful atmosphere.

Where can you go for a hot, tasty dinner, in a restful atmosphere on a cool damp evening? Why not try Fortune Chinese Restaurant on N. Rockwell. That is just what we did, and it was totally enjoyable. This is one of our favorite places for a nice dinner in a quiet atmosphere. No clattering of dishes, fishy smell as you walk in the door. Just a really nice place to eat. The servers are always friendly, and since we have been going there for years, they just bring our usual soup and appetizers. We vary our entrees, so there is always plenty of time to peruse the menu. I love the egg drop soup, and my husband the hot and sour. This particular evening I had General Tso's Chicken, and it was as delightful as always, Hot with heat, and spice the flavor is very satisfying. My other half, loves the Cashew Chicken, and he, too, was very happy with his choice. The hot tea is always hot, and full of flavor, and is refilled as needed. The Fortune is always clean, the tables cleared, and is definitely family and kid friendly. There is plenty of room for large groups. As I said, it is quiet, clean, and the food is very good. Try it, you'll probably like it.

A quiet restaurant with great food and service

We enjoyed going to the Fortune Chinese Restaurant and had a great meal with excellent service. This is a favorite of ours to enjoy the meal and having a conversation without having to yell over the noise of other customers. Large portions are served and our table was well attended by our server. I chose the Beef Egg Foo Young and Hawaiian Chicken which was served with a mound of fried rice. Prices are moderate.

Second visit and last

Been a long time since we've been here and this was a last minute choice. The place was almost empty when we arrived and we were immediately greeted and seated. The hostess asked what we wanted to drink but was a different person who brought this out. So far so good. Waited a few minutes before our waitress came to take our order and she was polite and friendly. Order was for chicken lo mein and pan fried noodles with chicken. The whole time before the food was delivered we had no silverware or napkins. Food did not take long but had to ask for silverware and napkins when the food was brought out. Lo mein was about as boring as the picture. Noodles in sauce with bits of chicken. Pass. The pan fried noodles was basically a plate of chow mein noodles covered in chicken and beef (only wanted chicken ) when this was brought out the waitress even mentioned it had beef in it and would take it back if we did not want the beef. If you know this then don't bring it out to begin with when it's wrong. Checkout was easy and quick. Last minute choice and last visit period. Try if you want but don't have high expectations.

If you want a quiet place to eat, with very tasty food, this is the place to go. All of the menu items are freshly prepared for you, and are never disappointing. This is a family run restaurant, and the service is great, along with a very clean atmosphere. We frequent this place because we know that our hunger will be satisfied, and we can eat in a quiet atmosphere. We love their egg drop, and wonton soups, and all of the entrees come to the table hot and very tasty. The hot tea, even on the hottest day, is very good. It is a small place, but also very comfortable. Try it, you'll not be sorry.

This place was great!

Ate here with my wife and we had a nice dinner after looking at houses in the area. We got some General Tso's chicken and some sweet and sour chicken. They were both excellent. We will be back for sure. In fact, my wife normally does not like General Tso's chicken, so that was supposed to be for me. She pretty much took over the General Tso's from me.
