About
Trappers offers a truly unique backwoods fishing lodge atmosphere. It is located in the Reno/Meridian Hotel-Airport corridor, near the Fairgrounds. Trappers has been the "Horsemen's and Horsewomen's Headquarters" for over a decade. A 12 ft. Tall Kodiak bear greets customers as they enter the dining room filled with game trophies, authentic Indian canoes, and a live alligator tank. Favorites, along with signature mesquite grilled seafood dishes, are the blackened prime rib, mesquite grilled steaks, quail, and prime pork chops.

Yes, it's Cajun, but it is really good. AND, if you don't care for that, they have regular dishes, so do not lose hope going with friends who enjoy some spice. They have one of the best bars in town and can make anything your...heart desires. They have every bourbon known, but they make a kick butt bloody mary and margaritas to die for.... Just some of their many things their great bartenders make. The menu is very diverse and in all sorts of price ranges. A favorite place to eat every time I am in OKC!More

I had forgotten that Trapper's was still around when my mother mentioned it last week. I don't believe I've been there in 20 years - an error I won't repeat. My ribeye melt melted in my mouth. Trapper's serves some incredible food. Come for the...food and check out the dead animals mounted on the walls or the aquarium of turtles.More

First time I eat alligator and it was good, it tastes like chicken. The seafood diablo pasta was good. A little expensive but worth it

Walked in to dining area and was escorted to booth lacking social distance guidelines. Looked around and could not tell difference between serving now vs before pandemic. Elected to not be seated and left.More

Hi, Larry. We are very sorry to hear this. We have every employee in masks and are only serving at 75% capacity which is less than the CDC and Oklahoma Health Dept. guidelines suggest. Please know that if you prefer to be seated with no...More

The alligator appetizer may have been the salties thing I’ve ever eaten in my life (not a millennial exaggeration, I mean it). With that, everything else we order was a bit salty as well. The old fashioned was good and especially for the price. The...list of bourbons and whiskeys was pretty impressive I have to say.More

We visited Trappers for lunch one afternoon. I ordered the Shepherds Pie. Trappers did not disappoint! This dish was so good and filling on a cold dreary day. The pie itself was loaded with bite size steak and the mashed potatoes on top were creamy...and so delicious. I highly recommend this dish at Trappers!More

Never had the opportunity to visit Trapper’s before. Lady at our hotel said we wouldn’t be disappointed and boy was she correct! We split a cup of gumbo (wish we ordered a bowl). It was excellent. Husband had the prime rib (huge portion) and I...ordered the Cajun pasta. Staff was friendly and came by several times to check on the service and food. We will definitely return.More
