I have to 1st say I started a short roadtrip to Las Vegas starting up in Wisconsin. I stopped at most of every know BBQ joints in the midwest along the way. The last one was a well known place in Kansas City. I ended...up getting a plate of ribs and brisket here. Up at the table theres some pinto beans in a crock pot, pickles, and the pickled veggies (absolutely loved this). My ribs and brisket was very good. Loved the slight char and crunch to them. The smoke flavor and taste was good. I like to have a good smoke to my meat. Other places you can't almost tell it was smoked or cooked in an oven! Very hearty and filling. I could've shared the 1 plate with 2 people. Sides were good as well (bbq beans etc). Dinners came with a slice of their famous strawberry banana cake. Slightly on the dry side (more of a pund style cake thats why) but very tasty and was beyond full and satisfied that i wanted to sleep there. Small parking area, it was a former gas station. So don't the the outside nor inside steer you away.More

I've eaten at Leo's twice and if you want some extremely tasty, well cooked BBQ with a southern down home feel, this is your place!!! They offer ribs, hot links, bologna, chicken, world famous cake, plenty of sides, and I'm sure I'm missing some items....You can either order individual plates or the party platters. Highly recommend the party platters as there will be plenty to feed your hungry army!! During the pandemic crisis, they do offer take-out, which is what we just did earlier this week. Leo's is definitely on the agenda everytime I go to OKC!More

Haven't been here for probably a year and wanted to visit again while in the area. The place is still really cool to me. Very laid back/down home no frills type of atmosphere. Love the help yourself community beans and Zucchini salad. The BBQ brisket...was good maybe a bit dry for me and the pulled pork was really good. The toast & cake that is served with your meal is way better than most places. People are super nice. Appeared to only have 2 choices of bbq sauce, i prefer to have several but it was good and would go again if in the area. Thanks Leo'sMore

Well first off I loved the service the crew was fun and happy. The BBQ and sides were average at best after reading the reviews I was excited to give the food a try. The brisket was far from being done and did not have...hardly any smoke... had rib tips some were good and some were not. Mac salad and beans were awful. I will not be backMore

Better than Memphis BBQ! The "real deal" barbecue made with patience, love, and a whole lot of soul! The soul is in all of the food, the atmosphere, and the service! My wife and I tried the platter consisting of: ribs, brisket, sausage and bologna,...and two sides. All fantastic! We will definitely return to Leo's when visiting, passing thru OKC!More

I try to eat at Leo’s every time I go to OKC. If you’re a decor snob, stay away! This place is the real deal! The staff are all friendly. The “head chef” let me take a picture of his handmade smoker. The food is...phenomenal! Guy Fieri even showcased them on Diners, Drive-ins, & Dives.More

This hole in the wall establishment from 1974 were dark brown walls was highest fashion is just the place to visit for authentic BBQ. We got so many recommendations from our host and the Uber drivers to go for this apparent institution. You will not...get silverware - this is authentic - but give yourself the treat and visit this diner if in Oklahoma.More

Leo's is a very good funky dive BBQ place. That is why it was featured on Diner's, Drive-ins, and Dives. It's a converted corner gas station, so parking can sometimes be a challenge. It's small, so inside seating is very limited. Everything is smoked. No...grills, flat tops, or ovens. Just large smokers. And that great smoke aroma greets you the instant you're inside the door. I Recommend one of the sampler plates and you have to try the baked beans. Outstanding. We'll be back for sure.More

Wow...this place was fantastic. We decided to try Leo’s given it’s appearance on the DDD show, and we were not disappointed. I had to have the brisket, and it did not disappoint. The venue is a converted old gas station, which ads to the authentic...“original” feel - given that it’s probably never been updated since it opened. LOL...but the food was awesome and plenty of it came out on the plate.More
