Well, this is a very nice restaurant with a wide variety covered on its menu. Our party had steak, country fried steak (that covered the whole plate...wow), rigatoni bolognese, prime rib, tilapia, pork chops and ribs. Everyone bragged on their dish and stated they would...More

Stopped by for prime rib. Was a good cut of meat and flavor. The Croissants was so good. One of the best house salads I had. Would be better with French dressings. But think it’s a yankee thing in the south. Will be back.

Charleston's always seems to have tables available. I had a chicken salad which was excellent. Service is fast and friendly. The restaurant is dark and comforting. They seem to be open to making things not on the menu. Have eaten there numerous times and food/service...More

Walking into the entry of this intimate restaurant we were pleasantly greeted by the reception and wait staff that were all dressed as if this was a “fine-dining/ expensive” establishment. We briefly felt underdressed, as we had just driven in from Texas. This lasted only...More

My favorite entrée is the pork chop, awesome. Another fine Hal Smith restaurant, where the food and service is great.

My granddaughter chose Charleston’s for her graduation dinner. There were 25 of us split between 4 tables. It took over an hour just to get our drinks, then another hour for our food. The food was very good which is the reason I gave it...More

We usually enjoy eating at Charlestons, but this time it was horrible. No prime rib at 8pm so the server suggested the bone in ribeye for $42 pp. I told him I don't usually order steak because most places burn the outside...and that's exactly what...More

The restaurant is a very nice place to go. The smell of a smoked food hits you right on the nose, but its not over powering, its a pleasant mixture of all the smells. I had the prime rib, med-rare, it was wonderful. I wasn't...More
