This DDD restaurant did not disappoint! We had a 20 minute wait on a Sunday morning, but well worth the wait! I had the Mexi Scramble and added ranchero sauce and I loved it! Husband had pancakes and they were good too. Server was pleasant...and attentive. Ate at counter which was a kind of different experience for us. We watched the cooks that were cooking right in front of us....like a well oiled machine! Fun experience!More

Watched Guy Fieri's show, Diners Drive-ins and Dives and this was one that he visited. On a recent road trip through Oklahoma, my husband and I stopped there to eat and were not disappointed at all. I ordered a delicious Chicken Burrito and had to...take half home as the portion was huge. Hubby ordered the Beef and Chili Burrito and was very pleased with the taste (and size). We had to wait about 45 minutes to be seated, as social distancing prevented filling up all the seats. Watching how the food was prepared was a real treat, as you usually can't see inside the 'kitchen.' Would highly recommend stopping here if you happen to be in the town of Norman, OK. They are only open for breakfast and lunch.More

This restaurant could and should play on the authenticity of the decor to improve its cuisine. The meals are generous in size but are very average: no great flavor, no great quality. Too bad because the service is excellent.

This place a great place to eat, and the food is hot and fresh. Has a small diner feel. This was our second time going and still very impressed just like the first time.

These people work hard, make good food and keep prices down in a small space. I guess I’d call them a relic. Everyone should come here at least once. Our group ordered burgers, Santa Fe chicken sandwiches, chocolate chip pancakes and breakfast. We were satisfied.

This place is the definition of the term "diner", and in the best sense. Doesn't pretend to be anything it's not, but is very good at being a diner.

I had promised my wife we could find some great breakfast in downtown Norman. The one place I had seen a review on had closed, but this was next on the list and nearby. I have been away from Norman for over five years, so...was absorbing all the changes. But this place was like coming home. Some of the best hash browns we have EVER had. My wife insisted on coming again the next day, she was THAT impressed. And we were not disappointed. Wait staff is VERY friendly, both cooks we watched were involved in their craft. Modern down-home American; can't be beat!More

My husband and I took a drive to Norman to check out "The Diner". We are from Louisiana and he is currently working in A very small town 30 minutes south. The place was packed. We ordered and watched the cook prepare our meal with...lightening speed! My breakfast tamales we the best thing i've ever eaten for breakfast. My husband loved his breakfast burrito too. I'm craving it now!!! Definitely eat here.... you wont be disappointed.More

It’s funny that my wife and I finally get seated because this place is so cool there’s usually a line out the door. I immediately hear a lady in the booth behind me ask the waitress if the grill is real greasy. Lol, that’s what...you come to a place like this for. It’s small, friendly, and very reminiscent of a cafe from the 40’s and 50’s. Don’t be fufu and come here and ask how greasy the grill is because the cook could probably wring out their clothes at the end of the day and do an oil change on a car. This is the kind of place our grandparents brought us to as kids. Enjoy your meal, it’s gonna be amazing. And FYI, it’s probably gonna be a little greasy.More

A south-of-the-border influenced breakfast menu! Great food! I truly enjoy the egg quesadilla but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

It curbed our hunger but we won’t rush back. Mid-diner food. So strange, with my breakfast sandwich they gave me potato chips! Blueberry pancake was mediocre...
