I really want to love Pad Thai. The food is terrific. Unfortunately, it's ruined by terrible service. We've ordered takeout food from there several times lately, and it has taken anywhere from one hour to two-and-a-half hours for them to complete the order. Sorry, that's...just not acceptable. We've begun ordering elsewhere. I'm sad about that, but no food is worth waiting two-and-a-half hours for.More

Food is really good and sufficient quantity. The curries are really good. This is my second most visited restaurant in Norma.

We had the beef Pad Thai, Som Tum (Papaya Salad), and Nam Tok (Spicy Beef Salad) tonight. We eat a lot of Thai food and don’t know how we missed this restaurant until now. Everything had great flavor. The only thing I wish was different...was a less salty flavor in the Som Tum. It was still balanced nicely overall, just a little too salty for our taste. The prices are really reasonable and the location is closer to us than Thai Thai which has been our current favorite so far. Because of location and prices in conjunction with it being almost as good as Thai Thai, this will likely become our more frequented Thai restaurant!More

I live in Los Angeles where there are many Thai restaurants. I was not expecting to discover such an excellent one in the college town of Norman, Oklahoma but Padthai sure fits the bill! My husband and I ordered different levels of spiciness for our...curries and the kitchen did a great job of giving each of us exactly what we wanted. My husband loved his and my red curry with chicken was off-the-charts delicious! We were there for lunch and the portion was way too big to eat in one sitting so we took it back to our hotel room where we had a fridge and microwave. Well, we enjoyed our "lunch" portion curries for dinner for the next two nights. While the flavors were wonderful when we dined at the restaurant, they were even more yummy as leftovers. We are returning to Norman again soon and we can't wait for our next meal at Padthai!More

I ordered jasmine tea and they were out, so I got the organic green tea which was good. Everyday they have lunch specials, that vary slightly by day. For example, one day is spicy pork and the next spicy chicken. I ordered pad Thai, fried...pork egg roll, massaman chicken and spicy pork. The pad Thai was too sweet, which seems to be a common problem with Thai restaurants in Oklahoma. The fried pork egg roll was quite good, with a good meat / veggie balance. The massaman chicken was excellent and totally my favorite. I was told that next time I could get two of them if I liked. The spicy pork was served on a bed of veggies and boring.More

The menu features Thai and other asian dishes. I had the veggie summer rolls (boiled in clear rice paper, not fried) and the panang beef curry. The summer rolls were quite large and would have been enough as is, so I saved half of them...for breakfast. The panang curry was flavorful. Service was very prompt. Dinner came to $24 with tax and tip. This is great food for the price.More

I am a fan of Asian cuisine, so it's not much of a surprise that my favorite restaurant in Norman would serve Thai or Vietnamese food. Nevertheless, I need to sing the praises of Pad Thai. It's really, really good ... as good as the...Thai food I've ever gotten anywhere. The portions are large, the food is delicious (and a little spicy, so warn them if you want it mild), and the prices are reasonable. I'm particularly a fan of the red curry. If you're in Norman, and near the university, I really recommend it.More

A friend & I met for lunch and we got the Friday lunch special. I had PadThai, garlic pork, chicke red curry and a pork dumpling. I couldn’t decide whether to give them a 4 or a 3 Star re ire because they didn’t ask...us how hot we wanted it, so one-size-heat was the order of the day. Overall, it was a good lunch.More

If you like Thai and all things Asian, this is the place for you. Service is fast and courteous. Prices are reasonable. The lunch special offers lots of variety where you build your own selection. Come hungry as the portions are of generous size. Highly...recommendedMore
