Daryl Day's motto is " you don't need teeth to eat our meat". We've been ordering here (take out) regularly since he opened, and have never been disappointed. Get the smokehouse beans as one of your sides, you won't be disappointed. Friendly service, clean dining room.

In a highly competitive business where most customers have a particular favorite way a being prepared this will not disappoint. The flavor of everything we tried was very good. The ribs are the best I've had around and recommend evey BBQ connoisseur to give it a try.

I love coming to Rays. First the customer service is outstanding. Always friendly and helpful. They have a large variety of BBQ but also several homemade cakes. I like their strawberry best. No super sweet but sweet enough to fill that sweet tooth. They also have great ribs and great potato spuds topped with meats. They have a daily lunch... More

Best ribs, most friendly staff in Norman. A must stop for visitors to Norman. Bring your family when you come for the football games

Good luck finding a table at lunch time. That should tell you all you need to know. The food and service are both great. The ribs are incredibly consistent and meaty. Ray's is located in an old Pizza Hut. Don't let the building stop you. Just go inside and enjoy a terrific meal.

Came here from the reviews I heard on trip advisor. I don't eat bbq often because most bbq places are very disappointing when you try the food. But I must say I was very satisfied with this bbq place I will most definitely make a visit to this place again real soon!

I organized a road trip for a group of men from our church in Texas to visit a shrine in Kansas. I used trip advisor to identify restaurants to eat at on the trip. Rays BBQ was a great food. Very tasty, properly prepared meats with delicious side dishes. And the service was excellent.

In case your passing through Norman, Oklahoma, Rays Smokehouse BBQ is worth the stop. The brisket was tender delicious, with two sides. I chose the fried ocra and corn on the cob. A piece of toasted bread was added and reasonably priced. The food came out quickly, and the staff was pleasant. They were quite diverse in their tea selection,... More

Rays is a favorite for our family for Sunday lunch after church. The food is great, family friendly & fast. Order at the counter & they bring your food to the table. Pulled chicken and chopped beef are our favorite meats. Collard greens, mac & cheese, BBQ beans & fries are all good choices for sides. The desserts are AMAZING!... More

Ray's is my favorite BBQ in Norman and there are a lot of BBQ places in Norman. I just love their pulled pork. And OU and NFL legend Ray is usually always there meeting and greeting his guests. Their entire staff is great. Everything is great. I love it.

Thank glhenry
