Stopped on our way home from Texas. Thought it looked like more cars were there. That wasn't the case and I can see why. We all three ordered chicken fried steak. How can you go wrong with that? By serving a gristly chicken fried steak along mashed potatoes that were fine. But the gravy just wasn't good. It wasn't bad.... More

Friend and I stayed at the Quality Inn in Muskogee, OK in June 2016 and asked the front desk where we could get a steak. We were directed to Okies with the giant Bull on the roof. We shared a filet and ordered salad and baked potato. Service was a little slow, the potato and salads were TINY and the... More

Husband in town for fishing tournament and wanted steak. I had fried catfish and we both had baked potato as side. I had salad which was right out of the bag and no additions to the lettuce/cabbage mix. Fish was tender and flaky, not greasy. Husband said steak was good. He didn't leave any on the plate!

Went on a Tuesday night with a group from work. There were only a few other customers in the place and the service was extremely slow. The food was very institutional and not very good. If you really want a steak buy one and cook it yourself because the ones here cut like leather and taste like cardboard. They were... More

My husband and I were passing through and didn't want to eat fast food. We were seated immediately and had our drinks within minutes. The south western rolls were delicious. I had the Pork chops and my husband the chicken fried steak. Both very good dinners! Service was outstanding.

Just in town for the night and we had hoped to do BBQ but the place we wanted to go to wasn't open on Monday nights so opted for steak instead. This place is pretty interesting (check out the bathrooms) and is very country looking on the inside. We were one of only three tables (the other two left not... More

We were on a road trip and just wanted a simple meal. The food was good, although the salad was just so-so. The steak filet was seasoned and tender and delicious. And there is not much that can ruin a baked potato. Service was excellent and friendly.

Lot's of changes to this place over the last 5-10 years and cosmetically, the place looks great. It is an old fashion saloon type look with plenty of rustic charm. The issues aren't in the looks, it's in the service and food quality. One time you go and you get good service and meal is spot on. The next time... More

We stopped by here on a recent trip to Muskogee. According to their website they offer a vast selection of local, domestic and import beer. We get there and are told the website is wrong on the beer and several food selections. The beer selection is a joke. We ordered the fried zucchini which was pretty good, just lacked any... More

Steak won't seasoned at AL but good cook and quality. Sides were not good at all. Salad was lettuce and dressing, or should I say dressing with lettuce. Service was great. Glad I tried but won't be back. Price way too high for the quality.
