This looked like a fun mom and pop type of restaurant. Things kinda looked worn down and in need of upgrade. There really is a difference between worn out and nostalgic! It smells like burgers and fries when you walk in which is normal for...More
Been coming here for years while traveling between Texas and Missouri. The food is southern comfort food. It's greasy in the best way. Crispy fried okra, homemade mashed potatoes and gravy, catfish, pies, etc. Never had a bad meal at Angel's.

Recently had the pleasure to have dinner at Angel's Diner while in town again overnight. Great diner atmosphere and the service was friendly, prompt and efficient. Had the Monday night Blue Plate Special and it was good to the last bite. Will definitely stop here...More
This is a cute diner with a 50s and Happy Days theme to it. They also run a motel out back. The diner was excellent. The service top notch, and my wife really enjoyed the omelet. I wasn’t as crazy about my meatloaf but it...More
Stopped by because the clerk at the hotel said it was good, but was surprised how good. It looks like a 50s diner out of happy days, so you might think it is all kitsch, but the food is excellent, and the service top notch!
Perfect diner food. Catfish. Fried Okra. Chicken fried chicken. Green beans with bacon. Mashed potatoes. Frito pie. Two people too stuffed to try the delicious looking deserts. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere.
Went in with mid-low expectations, and left feeling the same. Unless you’re motivated by the 50’s diner theme or entrees named after your favorite Happy Days character, there’s no reason to stop. The food was on the low end of average.
