First time eating here. Jimmy's Eggs was recommended to me by my daughter. Very friendly people. They welcomed you and said thank you for stopping by. Breakfast was from the griddle combo and was delicious. Reasonably priced breakfast. I recommend eating breakfast here and I...would eat here again.More

There was a wifi guest showing up on my phone before we went in but then after we got in we found out there was no free wifi. False advertising. My wife’s job requires her to log into her computer once a day and we...had to go to a funeral today so we really just needed to use the wifi while we ate breakfast. You all need to either remove the SSID that says guest wifi or give out the password.More

We ate breakfast two mornings in a row. It was the best breakfast of the three places we tried in town (Angel's DIner and Boomerang). Service was good and restaurant was clean. Kitchen was bit slow on the second day but they were busy. The...boss lady ran a tight ship making sure that food was served as soon as it came up. Thought the portions were a little smaller than the Tulsa locations. They also serve lunch but are only open til 2 in the afternoon. There is a not a big sign along the highway, just markings on the building.More

We pass through McAlester frequently on our travels from Texas to Missouri and vice versa and we have always had a more difficult time finding a good place to eat and rest. McAlester is our halfway point and we really like to stretch our legs...here. Anyway, we noticed Jimmy's Egg and I am so glad we stopped. The food was really good, the coffee was exactly what we hoped for, and the service was attentive and perfectly timed. The restaurant is very clean and you can see back into the kitchen. My youngest son had the cinnamon roll and said it was super yummy; it looked good, gooey and fresh. I had the GARBAGE BREAKFAST and they didn't hesitate with the substitutions I requested, no peppers and bacon instead of sausage. It was delicious and I would order again. My husband had eggs and corned-beef hash and he said it was also very good. My other son had pancakes and the corned-beef hash and he was very pleased with his meal. We will definitely stop here again.More

If you leave here hungry it's your own fault. The pancakes were perfect and the cinnamon roll pancakes were delicious. My grandson had an omelet that he said was always good when they come to Jimmy's Egg. I wish we had one back home.

Stopped here for breakfast on way back to Texas. It is still fairly new but didn’t disappoint. Food was excellent and service was great! Coffee cups were always full and several waitresses checked on us. It is in a great location right on the highway....Don’t let the construction deter you....you can still easily get in and out.More

Very disappointed with Jimmy's Egg. Service was terrible. Waitresses appear to always be doing something but nothing gets accomplished. Had to stop another waitress twice in order to get a coffee re-fill. My waitress ignored us. I asked for something when the food came but...never got it. The next time she spoke to me was when she brought the check and I wasn't even finished eating. Grits were ice cold. With a change in staff this could be an excellent restaurant.More

Good menu and staff. Food is cooked to order, (eggs over easy are perfect) and coffee cups are always full. My only complaint is they close too early!

Our second visit here. We went not long after they first opened, and the food quality and high prices were such that we did not want to return. We went this time because it's hard to find breakfast in this town on a Sunday morning....This visit went a lot better. The prices are still just a bit high for what you get, but not at all outrageous. All of our food was above average in taste. The atmosphere is good, and the place was busy when we visited. Our server was prompt after we sat down, bringing drinks and taking our orders. However, we rarely saw her again after the food arrived. We had to flag down other servers for coffee refills and to fix a couple small issues with our order. I liked the option of adding cheese and onions to the hash browns. The coffee was pretty good, but over $2 a cup! Getting a last cup to go when you leave helps a bit. Overall, pretty good, and we will likely be back.More

We have gone here 4 different times. We had one kind of bad experience, two good experiences and one horrible experience. Our last experience was absolutely horrible. It started out with trash in our coffee cup. Then I had food that was not even cooked,...It was cold and tasted like they had it cooked 10 minutes before my family's and it was waiting on the rest of the food. It had nacho cheese on top that was gotten hard from being cold. My tortilla was cold also. We never received syrup, we got some left on another table. The water tasted musky. Our waitress was rude, didn't check on us except once. She was awful. We will not be going back.More

Wife and I wanted to see what this little place offered. We were totally surprised to find the waitress attentive, courteous, and speedy. Not a large menu, but, certainly better food choices than larger eating places. Just off the main highway and find yourself a...quaint eating place. Only open breakfast and lunch. Wished they were open for dinner.More
