We ordered lunch for several people in the office and while they don’t deliver the taste and skill used in preparation was more than enough to compensate. Quality of food is excellent, flavor is even better. So many good things to say... and eat.

This is a small, apparently family-owned place with very good food and attentive service. We both ordered the sashimi appetizer: 9 pieces of very fresh fish for $8.95. It was delicious! He ordered Hibachi scallops ($14.95) and I ordered Chicken teriyaki ($10.95) Both meals came with a nice fresh salad, miso soup, rice and vegetables. Portions were large. It is a relaxed, casual dining place, without the usual blaring music of the big chain restaurants. We only found it on the last day of our stay, otherwise we would have eaten here more nights.

Great food, small place. Great value compared to other sushi places. Portions are very generous and I could/did eat my weight in the coconut shrimp. Recommend the Green Leaf roll, Tokyo roll and the San Francisco roll. Great selection of Japanese beers.

Service was by a couple of young girls barely 17. They did well enough, although they had no tea and soft drinks were poured from 2 liter containers. As far as the food: They had a $22 “All you can eat” option. Should have avoided that until I knew what the food was like. Bottom line? Not great. OK, but I will not be back.

The food here has been nothing but great! They have a $twenty-something all you can eat deal and it's so worth it! It comes with more than 15 different types of sushi, some sides and salads, other food items and desserts for that price. If you don't want to do that, they do have a menu too. Food is always fresh and their sushi is always well made although, they are a little bit too big. They put a lot of rice on it which can fill you up quickly after a couple of rolls. Service isn't always the best ESPECIALLY when it's busy. I believe it's a family own place so the lady who's the owner or related to is always the only one waitressing. Although, there was this one time where my boyfriend and I came in and she had her son (who looked about maybe 10 years old) seat us, gave us our water and even took orders from us....it made me feel very uncomfortable. Buttt for the most part, the lady does a pretty good job.

My wife and I ate here because it had been a while since we'd eaten Japanese food. Initially we were going to order sushi, but after walking in decided we'd better eat something cooked. We ordered the fried calamari to start. I believe it was about 6.75 . What we got was 5 or 6 small strips of the squid, which were well done well. The pieces were very light and airy, which I don't expect from squid. Portion size was small. My wife ordered the scallops. Again, the order was small for the price. I ordered the beef bugolki, which was seasoned nicely, but a tad mushy in spots. It seemed like it was tendered way too much. Our rice was overfooked - crunchy at the edges but mush at the interior. When we commented to our waitress she looked confused and offered the response something along the lines of it's supposed to be that way. No offer to replace it. The menu is expansive, so I'm pretty sure most of their ingredients are probably frozen and not fresh. All in all underwhelming and overpriced. Live and learn.

I tried the Tokyo Sushi for lunch, today being an asian food fan. From the look of the outside I was a little leary to go in. The inside was better cared for than the outside and had a nicer decor. The first thing most of us do walking into sushi is smell the air inside. The air was slightly heavy. Not fishy but not fresh either. Things were clean and the asian greeter/waitress was very friendly and attentive in her second language english. I ordered the Lunch Hibachi chicken which came with a ginger salad, miso soup, chicken, white or fried rice and mixed vegetables. The salad was a stock iceberg lettuce with a deliscious dressing. Miso was nicer than most. Chicken was a little chewy but not bad, overall. I also ordered a california roll which was just fine. My friend got a bento box (see pics) and was happy with it. This place is ok. Run of the mill. Not your date place but you can knock out a quick asian meal there.

Reasonable prices, great food, nice atmosphere-----however..... service can be VERY slow. We ordered and it took them one hour to bring my son his main course of chicken tempura. The food is great, but you'll need some time to enjoy it. If you've got a few hours, order the all-you-can-eat.

We ate here twice in a week--once with extended family and once with friends in from out of town--and both visits were great. The all-you-can eat option is really fabulous if you have time and appetite, most especially if you like nigiri, which is usually charged by the piece. (We recently ate at another sushi place we like in Bixby, and for the price of an appetizer, 2 basic rolls and one specialty roll we could have both had AYCE at Toyko!) I order off the menu because I like to take home leftovers, and my husband orders AYCE. This is a cozy family-owned business, so it's good to come when you're not in a hurry, just in case they're busy, but the service has been great and the food has been excellent. In case you are thrown off by the Broken Arrow address, Tokyo is just east of the Super Target at 71st & Hwy 169, near Merritt's Bakery.

We visited Tokyo (or perhaps it is more accurately Tokyo Sushi) with a Groupon recently. They offer a wide selection of Japanese dishes including sushi, habachi-style, and more traditional choices such as Bento boxes, yakatori, ten don, etc. We were there on a Wednesday evening and were one of 3 or 4 parties in the restaurant. We found the food to be better than the other Japanese restaurant we typically go to for "regular" Japanese food (Memories of Japan) although the prices were higher.
