Food was not good. Don’t expect anyone to take care of anything for you. They just bring your food and they are done with you. Get your own silverware and drinks. They ask for the tip when you pay. Yep, they got me. Expected much...more. Very disappointed.More

got okjoes number from the hotel i was staying at. heck, it was a speed dial button on the in room phone (stoney creek hotel). less than 200 yards from joes front door (google it ... no joke). did everything to order and waited for...delivery. an hour later, called okjoes. manager said food left over 40 minutes ago, would try to track it down. never heard back from him. hears noise in hotel corridor next rooms kid) but when i opened the door, food was there in bags. cold as cold can be, just sittin there. took cold food less than 200 yards to okjoes manager and he blamed the delivery person. never took responsibility for what came out of his restaraunt. blame others. the driver took the covid "contactless" delivery seriously. dropped my food and ran. this POS manager then told me he "FIXED" the problem by refunding my money. i walked out very mad, very hungry and feeling very disrespected. this kid manager did nothing and just wanted me OUT of his restaraunt. i still would love to try okjoes, but i am back in Norman OK having to choke down billy simms bbq. such a sad waste of my time as a senior citizen to deal with a disrespecful child you have managing this locationMore

We have been to OK Joe’s many times and always enjoy both the meat and the sides. I saw on their marquee that sweet corn was available so we added a few ears of corn to our Father’s Day dinner takeout order of specialty sandwiches...and a quart of beans. The sandwiches were delicious and the beans are always the ‘best on the planet’. The corn was an incredible disappointment. It was high-priced but I hoped it would be worth the price. We received 3 small ears wrapped in cellophane. Based on their size (with husks still attached) I knew there was trouble. Inside the small husks it got worse - one ear had virtually no edible kernels! Someone in the kitchen failed to do any quality sorting when the sweet corn came in and we paid the price. I’ve never had a problem with Joe’s food but they need to get rid of the corn or find a supplier and kitchen prep process that ensures your diners are getting a fantastic ear of corn every time. I hate to call OK Joe’s ‘average’ but that corn was abysmal so the rating had to drop.More

This place was rated pretty high on trip adviser, so we decided to try it. Smoked chicken was good. Beef brisket was ok, baked beans were awesome, not impressed by the potato salad. Tasted store bought. Overall good meal for a good price.

I haven’t been to Oklahoma Joes’s since the virus, but today I ordered online. The website said the order for 3 people would be ready in 14 mins. I called and let them know I was there. They got the order out in 12 mins...total. Not only were they fast, but efficient! The entire order was correct! My, was it delicious. Definitely worth your visit, even during this difficult time!More

Joes has a wide variety of BBQ meats and they are all slow smoked. their beans are a unique 7 bean blend and they have real french fries, a must for BBQ for me.

This place proves that the American legacy of barbecue has been high jacked by the fast food industry just like all the others. BBQ in its nature is slow (if it’s any good). It also sources it’s protein carefully and locally. Pork should be pasture...raised along with beef that should also be 100% grass fed. That is the heart of good BBQ. The irony is that the meat in this establishment is likely not raised in Oklahoma at all.More

Well, this might be a shock to you but it is literally, THE BEST STEAK place around too.. it is so delicious, they only do steaks on Friday and Saturday,...so great for date night. You can always rely on Oklahoma Joes. The sandwiches are excellent and creative. Just don’t get to big and let the quality suffer.
